今回は咲です。

小林立原作　スクウェアエニックス発行　ヤングガンガン連載コミックのアニメ作品
２００９年４月から同年９月まで放送　全２５話

気が弱いドジっ娘の宮永 咲は高校に進学したある日、
中学時代からの友人である須賀 京太郎の誘いで麻雀部を訪れる。
そこで咲は昨年の全国中学生麻雀チャンピオンで、
同じ一年生の原村 和と出会い、和と同じ中学出身の片岡 優希を交え、
成り行きで麻雀を打つことになる。

勝負は全中チャンピオンである和が、
その実力を遺憾なく発揮して圧勝。
しかし学生議会長兼麻雀部部長の竹井 久は、
「全てのゲームで±０」という咲の特異性に気付く。
咲に手加減されていた事を知った和は、
もう一度一緒に麻雀を打って欲しいと咲に頼むが、
「麻雀は好きじゃないから」と断られてしまう。

後日、図書室で咲と再会した久は、
もう一度和と麻雀を打つことを条件に、
咲が借りたがっている本を貸し出す約束をする。

２年生部員である染谷 まこを加え、
赤４ありの東風戦という変則ルールで始まるゲームだが、
咲は前回同様に±０を目指す打ち方をする。
そして和が親のオーラス。
このまま咲が上がれば５２００点で±０となるが、
それに気付いた和は敢えて立直をかけて場に１０００点加え、
咲の目論見を崩そうとする。

±０にする為には４０賦三飜・５２００点の役を、
７０賦二飜に代えて４２００点に落とすしかないが、
その確立は役満よりも低いという難解な手牌。
誰もが降りると思ったその時、咲は門前の西を槓し、
嶺上開花で７０賦二飜の役を完成させ、±０のままゲームを終える。

というのが第１話の大まかなあらすじです。

今までの麻雀アニメや漫画というと、
哲也やアカギのような殺伐としたイメージがありますが、
この咲に関してはそれが当てはまらない
美少女麻雀(百合)アニメです。

というか、高校生なのに色々な意味で反則ですね。
和の胸の大きさとか、衣のロリとかw

えーと、まずは主人公の咲なんだけど……
咲が麻雀を嫌いな理由の描かれ方が、掘り下げ足りない気もします。
確か家族麻雀が元で両親が離婚しちゃって、
家族がバラバラになったのが嫌いになった理由だと思ったんですが……
この辺りはあまりにも軽く流されちゃってますね。
あまり深く掘り下げると、今度は作品そのものが重くなって、
その後の展開に不都合が生じるわけですが、
掘り下げ方が甘かったかな、って感じました。

咲が再び麻雀を始めるきっかけとなったのは、
姉である照が全国大会で優勝して雑誌に取り上げられ、
その記事を目にしたことなんだけど、
掘り下げが足りなかった分、そこもかなり軽く感じられましたね。

咲の能力にしても嶺上開花は結果についてくるおまけで、
実際は暗刻から槓に繋ぐ事が出来る、
つまり同じ牌を引き寄せやすい能力なんですけど、
嶺上開花ばかりがクローズアップされる描写ばかりでした。
まあ、その方が描きやすいんでしょうし、別に構わないんですけど。

優先さんが風邪引いているらしいので、桃の画像で元気になってくれるでしょうかね？w

和のデジタル打ちについても良く判らないし、
何よりも藤田プロが微妙な立ち位置に居るのがなんとも……
どう贔屓目に見ても、藤田さんは解説の仕事をしていませんw

しかしあれですね。
基本的に咲と和以外は見せ場が少なすぎますね。
今回のラスボスである衣も一応見せ場は在りましたが、
偏りはかなり激しい気がします。

風越の福路然り、龍門淵の透華然り、清澄の久然り……
鶴賀の蒲原なんか、部長なのに見せ場皆無でしたよw
桃も、さあこれから、って矢先にあっさりと和に負けちゃうし。
咲と和と衣以外、扱いがかなり酷いですね。
龍門淵のメンバーなんて、衣の引き立て役にしかなってません。

展開の都合上、視聴者サービスは完全に終盤に回されてますが、
無いよりはマシといえばマシなんでしょうね。
正直、今更かよ！とも言いたくはなりますがw

元々原作を追い越しちゃった(原作はようやく団体戦が終わったところ)ので、
最後の数話はアニメオリジナルになってます。
これはまあ、仕方ないでしょうね。

作画に関しては正直微妙というか、
良し悪しがはっきり出ている作品だと思いますね。
ただ、作風としては百合が描きたいのか、
美少女雀士を描きたいのかが良く判らない、
中途半端な作風に感じられます。

麻雀に関しても素人さん置いてきぼりの展開なので、
視聴者側がどこまで割り切って見られるかがポイントになるでしょうね。
敢えてカテゴライズするならば、
美少女麻雀バトルアニメ(脱衣なし)でしょうか？

ヤングガンガンが隔週発行なのを考慮に入れると、
第２期制作は４～５年は無いのでは？

麻雀素人の私でも結構楽しめましたよ＾＾

と言っても、もう１回見直してみると、盛り上がったのは咲と和の出会いのシーンと、団体戦決勝の咲くらいだったかな？

咲の設定がはっきりしないのは難しいところでしたよね。
はっきりさせると重くなりそうですし、でも曖昧にし過ぎたせいで咲の存在が後半まで空気でしたしｗ

咲は私が初めて２クールアニメで最後まで見続けられた作品でした。
麻雀の事はわからないので、案外何も考えずに見れるお気楽アニメだったかなーとｗ
作画も水準以上だったと思いますし、合格点をあげてもよいのでは？？

役がなかなか覚えられなくて……
面白そうな麻雀ゲームがあればいいんですけどね……

盛り上がりに欠けるというか、和以外は基本的に空気ですね。
咲ですら主人公なのに空気ですからw
風越の福路と同等の力があるはずの久ですら、
見せ場は殆ど無し。

作画は全体的には水準以上でしたが、
ちょこちょこ「これ、誰？」っていうのがあって、
良し悪しがはっきりしていました。
そういう意味では、微妙でしたね。
流し見で違和感を感じるほどに差が出てしまうのは、
正直高評価には繋がらないと思います。

まあ、合格点をあげることは出来ますけどね。
