ベイスターズのシーズンオフ その３

埼玉西武とのシコースキー争奪戦に破れはしたものの、
これでもかと補強をしてきた横浜ベイスターズ。
人数こそ多いですが、
これが大型補強かと言われると正直微妙としか答えられませんが、
今回はベイスターズの最重要補強ポイントである投手、
それも先発投手に限定してみようかと……

上記に乗せているのは、今シーズンのベイスターズ先発投手の主な成績です。
小杉や阿斗里といった登板数が少ない投手や、
吉見のように中継ぎ併用の投手は省いています。

この中でローテーションを守りきったのは三浦しか居ません。
チーム先発最多の２８試合登板、完投数６、１９６イニング投球は立派ですが、
気になるのは被本塁打２８。
単純計算で毎試合、１本はホームランを打たれていることになり、
裏を返せば無失点で抑える可能性がかなり低いわけですね。
ただ、最多完投を含み、平均投球回数は７というイニングイーターぶりで、
投手陣の柱としてチームを支えたのは事実でしょうね。
来シーズンはどれだけ被本塁打を減らせるかが焦点でしょう。

次に挙げるのは寺原。
鳴り物入りでホークス入団後はなかなか開花せず、
２００７年にベイスターズ移籍後はその兆しを見せ始めたものの、
２００８年シーズンはチーム事情で抑えに回ったりと役割が安定せず、
その結果として未だに未完の大器といったところでしょうか。
今シーズンは交流戦前からオールスター前までの約２ヶ月間戦線離脱。
勝ち星に恵まれず２勝に終わりましたが、
１試合の平均投球回数は６回を越える安定した内容。
それだけに長期離脱がチームにとっても非常に大きかったと思います。
とはいえ、あくまでも先発としての責任を全うしただけという感じは否めず、
来シーズンはそろそろ才能の覚醒を期待したいところですね。

続いて挙げるのは途中加入のランドルフ。
前フロント陣が７月終盤に渋々補強した、といった感じですが、
登板数こそ少ないものの、１試合の平均投球イニングは７に近く、
こちらも非常に安定した内容でした。
対中日戦は３戦２勝と中々の相性を見せ、
巨人相手には完封すらして見せたランドルフ(これが唯一の完投ですが)
これに千葉ロッテからトレードで獲得した志水が加わり、
各々の役割がきちんとこなせればそこそこ良い戦いが出来ると思うので、
頑張って欲しいところですね。
気になるのはランドルフの与四死球の多さでしょうか。


上記の三選手以外に関してはどうにも……
藤江は若干不運な面もありましたが、
グリンと小林に関しては言い訳できないかと。
どちらも平均投球回数は６回未満です。
しかも小林は完投があるにも拘らず平均６回未満ですから、
安定感に欠けると言われても致し方ないかと。
５回１００球が当たり前では、正直困るんですけどね……
三浦・寺原・ランドルフ以外の負けパターンはほぼ決まっていて、
最初の２回で大量失点して負けているケースが多いんですよね。
ここを改善できない限り、他の投手で勝ちを拾うのは難しいでしょう。

清水を獲得したことで計算できる先発投手が増えたのは好材料。
寺原が故障を抱えたり、ランドルフが予想外に崩れたりしなければ、
三浦も含めて４枚は計算できることになります。
尾花さんが吉見を中継ぎと先発のどちらで使うのかが気になりますが、
仮に先発で使うとしても今年のような安定感が続けば、
といったところでしょうかね。
現実的に見て５位争いは出来る戦力。
希望を込めれば３位争い、夢と願望を含めれば優勝争いでしょうかw
ともかく、３年連続のぶっちぎり最下位だけは勘弁してください orz

久しぶりの訪問となってしまいました…すいません<(_ _)>

地元のチームが低迷するとう～んとなってしまうプロ野球ですが
データを見ながらオフシーズンを楽しむと言うのもプロ野球を楽しむ
のにはイイかなと思います。

寺原の低迷には元在籍のホークスファンからも「申し訳ありません…」
ホークスファンとしては在籍中にもなかなか一皮剥けないと思い

う～んとなっていましたので新天地のベイスターズの移籍が決まったときは良いきっかけにしてくれればと思っていましたが…

来シーズンは踏ん張れないと本人にかなり厳しい事もなる気がしますので影ながら見守っていたりします。

こちら、ホークスに移籍した田村選手も怪我に泣かされたりしてフルシーズンといかなかったりしますのでトレードの難しさの一端を見る思いです。

アンチ巨人と言う訳ではないですが…こうもガンガンと補強を自由自在にやりながら常に上位にいると言うのはここ何年間の成績を見ても

どうなの！？と思ったりしています。

多村に関してはベイ時代から怪我が多いことで有名ですが、
実力は間違いなく一級品なので、
シーズン通して活躍できればいいんですけどね。
個人的にはDHで使えば守備での怪我を回避できて良いのでは？
と思いますが、松中や小久保のことを考えると難しいでしょうね。

巨人に関しては今は効果的な補強を行っているので怖いですね。
一昔前なら阿呆みたいに囲い込みをやって、
相手チームを弱体化させるだけで、
実はたいした補強になっていなかったんですが……
