のんびりモードでアニメを消化したものの、今夜から早速新番組がスタート。
でもその前に２００９年１２月終了アニメの一つ、アスラクライン２を……

２００９年１０月から１２月放送　全１３話

点火装置(イグナイター)を廻る加賀篝隆也との戦いの果てに、
不時着を余儀なくされた飛行機を救うため、
自身の機巧魔神(アスラマキーナ)の力を解放することで、
志津間哀音を失った佐伯玲士郎。

それから暫く経ったある日、夏目智春のちょっとした勘違いから
保健室で小火騒ぎを起こしてしまった科学部の一同は、
科学部を管轄する第三生徒会の会長・橘高冬琉の命によって、
プール掃除の罰を科せられることに。

プール掃除中に見かけた謎のコアラ(のぬいぐるみ？)を追いかける
アニア・フォルチュナと、彼女を追って地下道へと入っていく智春たち。
ニアに追いつくも謎のコアラを見失い、帰り道の判らなくなった智春たちは、
学園の地下に滅び去った一巡目の世界の遺跡であるラクロアの遺跡の存在と、
そこから唯一帰還した人物が、
智春の兄・夏目直貴であることを黒崎朱浬から聞かされる。

冬琉が排水したプールの水によって、通路の奥へと流された智春たちだったが、
再び現れた謎のコアラの導きにより、ラクロアの遺跡へと辿り着く。
そして智春は遺跡の内部で、
一巡目の世界における自分たちの記憶を垣間見るのだが……

というのが第１話の大まかなあらすじですね。

３ヶ月というインターバルを置いて再開されたアスラクライン。
第１期冒頭はあまりにも展開速くて、やや置いてけぼり感がありましたが、
今回の第２期でもそれはやはり健在なようで……
科学部部長である塔貴也をシェルターから引っ張り出す一件で、
高速展開、リズムが取れない、何故か計算出来ない♪
といった状況に陥ってしまいました。
冬琉の恋愛フラグなんて、いつの間に立っていたんだ？って感じですよ。
本人たちの間には色々あって、ああいう結果になったんでしょうが、
事情を知らない視聴者の立場からすれば超展開もいいところでした。
(冬琉の登場自体、１期の最終話が初出でしたからね)

とりあえず、２期から見始めた人にとっては、
この作品は意味不明なことばかりだったと思います。
正直１期から見ていても意外と判り難い、というのが本音ですね。
直貴の謎とか一巡目の世界の崩壊とかは判って来ましたが、
ストーリーの本質とは異なるけど細かい謎が謎のままだったりしますね。
例えば、二巡目の世界で「世界が滅ぶこと」をどうやって知ったのか？とか、
何故そこが二巡目の世界と断定できるのか？とか……

第２期の見所は、大きくなったニア!?

というわけで、物語中盤(全体では終盤ですが)に、
一巡目の世界へと飛ばされることとなった智春・奏・ニアのうち、
ニアだけが５年前へと飛ばされてしまったわけですが、
一巡目の世界で語られていく世界の崩壊とそれに関る真実。
１４話(２期の第１話)に登場したのはニア本人であること、
機巧魔神を制作したのもまたニアであることが判明しましたが、
残念ながら何のために機巧魔神を制作したのかまでは、
語られる事はありませんでしたね。

二巡目の世界にあった機巧魔神をそのまま作ったのは良いとしても、
一巡目の智春が所有していた鋼以外は、
その本来の制作意図が謎のままに終わってしまいました。

原作はまだ完結していないみたいなので、
かなりオリジナル要素が入った作品だと思いますが、
悪くは無かったと思います。
ただ一点、最初から最後まで作画崩壊だったことを除けば、ですがw

二巡目の世界と特定できた理由は、一巡目から来た人の存在でしょうね。元の世界があって、世界が崩壊に向かっているので、過去に戻ってやり直すことにした。だから、二巡目の世界だ、ということかな、と思います。

二巡目の世界崩壊については、難しいですね。おそらく、そのまま進めば、当然同じ歴史を繰り返すので、結果待っているのは世界の崩壊だ、ということではないでしょうか。

＞残念ながら何のために機巧魔神を制作したのか

機巧魔神は、対悪魔用の兵器ですね。超弦重力炉が暴走したとき、中から悪魔が出てくるのが分かっているので、その対策として作ったのではないかと。原作だと、観測装置、ということになっているのですが。ラストが違ってしまいましたし､無効でしょうねｗ

いえ、実は原作は完結しているんです。智春と操緒の物語が、ですが。ただ、原作はラストが少し違うんですよ。アニメだと超弦重力炉が暴走したのがきっかけで世界の非在化が始まったのですが、原作では、神の領域に踏み込んだ人間を消す存在として「機械仕掛けの神（エクス・デウス・マキナ）」が発動した、という設定になっておりまして。で、智春と操緒がアスラクラインの力とイグナイターで機械仕掛けの神を倒したのですが、二人の行方は不明。智春の義理の妹である和葉の元に、奏がアタッシュケースを届けて、物語は和葉に手渡された、という形になっています。

アニメはアニメでよかったかな、と思うのですが、多少不満の残るラストでした。あと、作画崩壊が酷かったのは許せないですね。

まあ作画崩壊が酷いのは最初からですので、
１話の時点(１４話ではなく)でもう泣けましたね。
結局肝心なところはヘタレなままで、
今までの告白とかは何だったのか？というラストでしたが……

二巡目の世界に関しては、
一巡目の人間があまりにも少ないことで、
説得力に欠ける感じでした。
洛校関係者にもう少し一巡目の人間を加えていれば、
ある程度の説得力を持った気もしますね。

あ……原作完結していましたか。失敬。
