とある科学の超電磁砲 第１４話

超電磁砲の第１４話を見ました。
休みを利用して４人で遊びに行く計画を立てたのだが……

第１４話-特別講習-

学校の休みを利用して遊びに行くことになった美琴は、
ファミレスで待ち合わせの間、
黒子の映画鑑賞という主張に気乗りしない返事を返していたが、
流し見ていた雑誌のとある記事から、
セブンスモールへ行くことを提案するが、
黒子に雑誌の記事を見られたことから目当てが、
屋上で行われるゲコ太のぬいぐるみショーにあることを見抜かれ、
激しく動揺することとなる。
必死になって否定する美琴と追求を止めない黒子だったが、
遅れてやってきた初春から、佐天が特別講習への参加を余儀なくされ、
遊びに行くことが出来ないことを告げられるのだった。

一方、特別講習への参加を余儀なくされた佐天は、
そこに集められたのが幻想御手を使用した能力者であることを知る。

午前中、月詠小萌による座学の講習を受けるも、
それを把握できず上の空のまま時間を過ごした佐天だったが、
お弁当を忘れたことから学食へと赴くが、
休校で運営していない学食に途方に暮れていたところ、
学舎の園の一件で知り合った重福と再会する事となる。

重福のお弁当を分けて貰うことで事なきを得た佐天。
一方特別講習のために集められた生徒が、
幻想御手の使用者であることを知った重福は、
これから先も同じような講習を定期的に受ける必要があるのか不安を洩らすが、
佐天はズルをした報いとして仕方の無いことだと、
自分を納得させるように呟くのだが……

小萌先生が出てくるからてっきり上条さんサイドのお話かと思いきや、
今回も幻想御手に絡んだお話でした。
特別講習の舞台となっているのは上条さんが通う高校なんですけど、
肝心の上条さんの出番はありませんでしたねw

原作では初対面時の一方通行に、
不老不死を研究しているどこかの研究施設の実験体
と誤認されたほど、教師とは思えない姿の小萌先生ですが、
やはり今回も講習参加者に驚かれていましたね。
まあ、初対面なら絶対に年上だと思えない容姿をしていますから。
さすがは、永遠のロリっ娘教師と言ったところでしょうかねw
ただ、口調は原作よりほんの僅かだけど大人しめでした。

子供趣味というのが完全に周囲に認知されている美琴。
殆ど乗り気がしない状態で黒子の会話を聞き流し、
気だるそうに雑誌のページを捲っていたはずの美琴が、
突然目を輝かせて行き先を提案した瞬間、
屋上・イベントという組み合わせで殆どの視聴者は
理由はゲコ太だな
と思ったのでは？
まあ、私は顔つきが変わった瞬間にゲコ太だなって思いましたがw

３話以来、実に久しぶりの登場となった重福ですが、
そういえば手紙のやり取り云々の約束をしていましたが、
佐天は彼女からの手紙にきちんと返事を書いていたんですね……
しかし重福の佐天に対する感情というのは、
贔屓目に見ても友達という感覚ではない気がします。
３話のラストでなんとなくそんな気がしていましたが、
重福って消極的な百合キャラですかね？
(或いは隠れ百合キャラ？)

幻想御手を使用した懲罰と思い込んでいた受講者たちは、
持久力テストの無意味さに担当の黄泉川に食って掛かるが、
そんな彼らに対し、自分で自分の限界を決めたらダメだと諭すのだが……
まあ禁書目録の原作も含めて、
この作品を読んでいると良く判ることなんですが、
高レベルの能力者と低レベルの能力者の最大の違いって、
実はこの能力の限界設定にあると思うんですよね。
心理面のハードルというか壁でも良いですが、そういうものを幾つも用意していて、
それを一つ一つクリアーしていくことで心理面の限界を作らない、
或いはそのハードルの高さ調節が上手い人ほど、
能力が上がりやすいのではないかな？と。
それが高レベルの能力者特有の自信でもあるし、
強固なパーソナルリアリティの確立に繋がっている気はします。
作中で描かれている低レベル能力者の殆どは、
能力を上げたいという願望はあるけど、どこかでそれを諦めている、
心理面における限界点を自分の中に作ってしまっている印象がありますね。
そう考えると、黄泉川の言っていることはあながち間違いではない。
ただ、この特別講習の意味を最初に理解させていなかっただけで、
その点は午前中の講習を受け持った小萌先生の手違いでしょうね。
ストーリー的には最初に反発させておいて、
後から真相を話して納得させる、という手法は理解出来ますが……

能力レベルの判定は変わらなかったものの、
それでも前向きに諦めないことを学んだ佐天。
しかし、迎えに来た美琴たちから映画とセブンスモールのどちらに行くか、
その決定権を委ねられた佐天は、プールを提案して、
全ての決断を初春に任せることに。
しかし、結局初春はどれに決めたんでしょうね？
