奇跡の逆転劇

大詰めを迎えたセ・リーグの優勝争い。
昨日行われた阪神対巨人の試合に於いて、
阪神が勝利を納めたことでギリギリで繋ぎ止められていた巨人の４連覇は完全消滅。
残り試合は１０月２日の東京ヤクルト戦のみとなった中日は阪神の結果待ち。
そして阪神は優勝するために残り７試合、一つも落とせない厳しい立場。

横浜はそんな優勝争い真っ只中の阪神相手に甲子園での試合。
リーグ優勝が掛った阪神に対し、
横浜はスレッジ・ハーパーという得点源は一足先にチームを離れ、
来シーズン以降のために若手中心のメンバーで経験値の上積み目的。
チームとしての勢いの差は歴然のように思えたのだが、
本日の横浜対阪神第２２回戦は
横浜　４－３　阪神　で、ベイスターズの勝利です


本日の先発は横浜が巨人戦は得意だけど広島戦と阪神戦を苦手としている大家、
対する阪神の先発はチームの勝ち頭で右の柱でもある久保。
横浜の勝てる要素が何処にあるの？と言いたくなるほど、
圧倒的に阪神優位な戦前予想。
シーズン終盤の疲労が溜まってきている時期ということもあり、
若干不安定だった久保の立ち上がりに先制のチャンスを作り出すも、
結局無得点に終わってしまった横浜は３回裏、
８番坂にヒットを許すと９番久保の送りバントと１番マートンの進塁打で２死３塁とされ、
２番平野にセンターへのタイムリーを許して先制されてしまう。

横浜は直後の４回表、４番村田がソロホームランで同点に追いつくも、
４回裏に４番新井にツーベースで出塁され、５番金本の進塁打で１死３塁。
６番ブラゼルにはライトへのタイムリーを許して１点を勝ち越されると、
５回裏には１死からマートン・平野に長短打を許して２・３塁とされ、
３番鳥谷の犠牲フライで差を２点に広げられてしまう。
その後は７回を寺原が、８回を牛田が無失点に切り抜けて阪神の追加点を阻むも、
打線は徐々に調子を上げてきた久保の前に手も足も出せず、
反撃の糸口が見えないまま試合は９回表へ。

２番からの攻撃とはいえ２点差、しかも最終回の守り。
８回までソロホームランの１失点に横浜打線を抑えてきた久保に替えて、
守護神である藤川を投入して確実な勝利を得ようとした阪神だったが、
この継投が阪神ファンにとって悪夢を呼び込む結果となってしまう。

９回表、横浜最後の攻撃は一昨年のドラフトで阪神と競合した２番松本から。
その松本は藤川相手に粘りに粘って四球で出塁すると、
３番内川も四球で続いて無死１・２塁。
一発出れば逆転という場面で、村田が四球目の高めのストレートをレフトスタンドへ放り込み、
虎の夢を打ち砕く逆転スリーランホームラン。
土壇場で試合を引っ繰り返した横浜は９回裏に山口を投入。
その山口は２死から途中出場の９番関本とマートンに連打を許し、
２死１・３塁と一打同点のピンチを招くも、平野をショートゴロに仕留めて試合終了。
阪神の自力優勝が消滅したことでマジックも同様に消滅、
一転して自力優勝が復活した中日にマジック１が点灯する事となった。


いやはや、まさかの逆転劇でした。
藤川出てきた瞬間、負けたって思ってましたからねえ。
ところが結果は藤川から３点奪って横浜の逆転勝利。
しかし横浜は中日に対して４戦全敗だったのに、巨人に対しては４戦２勝、
阪神に対しては４戦３勝という結果ですから、ものの見事に中日をアシストしてますね。

これで中日は優勝マジック１が点灯したわけですが阪神は広島戦が控えており、
明日の広島戦で阪神が破れるようなことがあれば、
明後日の最終戦を迎える前に中日の優勝が確定しますね。
まあ例え阪神が広島に勝利しても、中日が東京ヤクルトを破れば優勝が決まるわけですが……
優勝が決まるのは明日か？明後日か？
それとも阪神の最終戦であるハマスタでの２連戦まで縺れるのか？
