地味様復活？の初勝利

暑いし、頭痛いし、でも今夜は色々と見るものがあるし……
さくっと書いていきますかね。

防御率は３点台後半と投高打低のシーズンでは平均的な物足りない数字に加えて、
シーズン途中に故障で登録抹消されていた北海道日本ハムファイターズの斎藤佑樹投手が、
オールスター出場選手に選ばれるという怪現象が起こっているプロ野球。
やっぱりあれか、客寄せパンダ枠が存在するのか。
どんなに贔屓目に見てもオールスターに出られる成績じゃないと思うんですが、
それはセ・リーグのキャッチャーも同じか。
さて、兵庫・沖縄・名古屋・広島という長いロードで大型連敗を２度も喫し、
僅か２勝に終わった横浜ベイスターズは今日からハマスタでオールスター前最後の６連戦。
まずその相手となるのは、今シーズン五分の戦績である阪神タイガース。
打線の組み換えで息を吹き返してきたとはいえど、
今シーズンここまでハマスタでは一度も負けていない相手だけにしっかり３たてを狙いたいところ。
そんな本日の横浜対阪神第９回戦は
阪神　０－４　横浜　で、ベイスターズの勝利です


本日の先発は横浜が開幕早々故障再発で２軍調整を余儀なくされた地味様こと清水直行、
対する阪神先発は新加入の藤井が捕手になってから勝ちだしたスタンリッジ。
昨年はかなり打ち込まれた阪神打線相手とはいえ、良い形で前半戦を終えるためには３たて、
最低でも勝ち越しで次のカードに繋げたいわけで、清水には頑張ってもらいたいところ。
その清水は２回・３回と走者を許すも味方の守備にも助けられて序盤を無失点で切り抜けるが、
野手陣はメッセンジャーの前に３回までをパーフェクトに抑えられ、
試合は１点を争う展開になりつつあったが４回裏、そのメッセンジャーに僅かな綻びが生まれる。

１番石川のピッチャーゴロにタイミングを合わせられず、メッセンジャーが後逸して出塁すると、
２番下園が送りバントをしっかりと決めて１死２塁と横浜が初めてのチャンスを作り出す。
すると３番ハーパーが外角高めのストレートをレフト前へ弾き返し、ヒット１本で先制点を奪えば、
６回裏には４番村田のソロホームランで２点目。
７回裏にはスタミナが切れたメッセンジャーに対し、７番渡辺・８番細山田が共に四球を選ぶと、
阪神２番手川崎に対して代打・藤田がキッチリと送りバントを決めて１死２・３塁とすると、
石川のボテボテのファーストゴロの間に渡辺が生還して３点目。
続く８回裏にも１死から５番スレッジ・６番金城の連打で１・３塁とチャンスを広げれば、
得点圏打率リーグ２位の渡辺が勝負強さを発揮してレフトへのタイムリーで駄目押しの４点目。

先発の清水が７回まで３塁を踏ませない投球で阪神打線を封じ込めれば、
２番手の牛田は８回先頭の代打・関本にレフトフェンス直撃のツーベースを許すものの、
金城の好守備などもあって無失点で切り抜けると、９回は４点差ながら山口が登板。
その山口は先頭の４番マートンにヒットでの出塁を許すも、
５番ブラゼルを注文通りのセカンドゴロ併殺打に仕留め、
最後は６番新井をレフトフライに打ち取り試合終了。
相手のミスをしっかりと得点に繋げ、きっちりと投手陣が相手打線を封じて勝利した。


とにかく７月に入ってからは中軸がアチャー、な状態で得点力が低下し、
全体的に打線の調子が下がっていたこともあってか守備面でもミスが連発。
僅差の試合で自滅というパターンが多かったわけですが、ハマスタに戻ってきた途端に、
まるで思い出したかのように堅実な攻撃で相手のミスを点に繋げての勝利。
ただ、もう一押ししたいところでタイムリーが出なかったのは、
まだまだ強いチームに成りきれてない証拠でもありますね。
あとはビジターでもこういう戦い方が出来れば、自然と勝ちも増えていくはずなんですけどねえ。

今日の清水は本当にナイスピッチングでした。どうやら大家・三浦・清水は大丈夫そうですね。
シーズン開幕から３ヶ月が経過して、遅まきながら横浜の先発の駒が揃ってきました。
やっと、という言い方も出来ますが、アキレス腱だった先発投手が安定してきたのは、
後半戦に向けての大きな好材料でもあります。
これでいきなり先発炎上で試合終了、というのがかなり減ってくると思います。

今日はある意味勝たせてもらった試合でもあったかな。
その象徴が１点差の６回表、無死１塁で鳥谷に送りバントをさせた阪神の采配。
今日の清水が攻めにくそうにしていた打者が鳥谷でしたから、
その鳥谷に送りバントの指示は１点を取りに行くという意味ではありかもしれないけど、
畳み掛けることが出来ないうえにブラゼルは完全に手玉に取られていましたからねえ。
実質的にマートンが決めなければ同点に追いつけない状況を作り出してくれたのが大きかった。


さて、明日もハマスタで阪神戦。
横浜の先発はルーキーの須田でしょう。阪神の先発は……誰だろう？
