今日も千葉ロッテと読売は延長引き分けだそうです……
さて、本日の横浜対福岡ソフトバンク２回戦は
横浜　０－３　ホークス　で、ソフトバンクホークスの勝利です……

先発は横浜がウォーランド、ソフトバンクは藤岡。
１回裏、先頭の本多に内野安打で出塁されると、パスボールと連続四球で１死満塁のピンチ。
小久保を内野ゴロに仕留めるが、続く多村にはタイムリーを浴びて２失点。
更に２回裏、先頭の田上にソロホームランを浴びて、３点のビハインドを背負ってしまう。

そこからはいつも通りの投手＆貧打戦が展開されることとなる。
ウォーランドは毎回のようにランナーを出すものの連打を許さず追加点を与えない。
その一方で打撃陣はホークス先発の藤岡を全くと言って良いほど打ち崩せない。
結局小林同様、序盤での失点が敗戦に結びつく形になってしまった……

さて、本日の敗戦で横浜ベイスターズの自力優勝は消滅しました。
まあ……まだ消えたばかりだから、これから勝ち続ければまだチャンスはあるよ
と言いたいところなのだが……
今の横浜ベイスターズでは、これから勝ち続けて上位浮上というのは望めそうも無い。
なにしろ打てない……ひたすら打てない……これでもかと言うほど打てない……
おまけに最近は先発投手陣が尽く調子を落としている状態である。
寺原が戻ってきたとしても、打線が打てないのでは勝てるわけもなく、今年の横浜ベイスターズは
ペナントレースの優勝争いからは、ほぼ完全に脱落したと言えるだろう。
となれば、目標をCSに切り替えるという方法もあるが、それも無駄に終わりそうである。

何故こうなってしまったのだろうか……
まあ、その理由は様々だと思う。
例えば監督が駄目だからとか、コーチが無能だからとか、ドラフトでハズレを引くからとか……
でも一番大きい理由は
球団フロントが野球に興味など無い、ど素人の集まりだからだろうね。
球団の方向性、必要な補強ポイント、育成方法を含めた全てが一貫してない。
話題作り最優先といった感じの球団運営だから、弱いのは当たり前と言えば当たり前。
とりあえず、今の若手が伸びてくる２～３年後なら優勝争いは可能かも。
といっても、それまで村田や内川が残っていればの話だが……
