女王の頭痛の種

イギリスの議員による相次ぐ経費スキャンダルの発覚で、
ブレア政権ブラウン政権はボロボロ状態……
(素で間違えたので訂正します。申し訳ありません)
既に発覚した１５人は、次回の選挙には出ない方針だそうで、
この辺りは日本の政治家とは雲泥の差ですな。

日本なら開き直りの居直りで反感を買ってから、ようやくと言ったところでしょう。
調べていけば判っちゃうんだから、素直に謝って出直せば良いものを、
私は悪くありませんとシラを切って、バレちゃってから御免なさい……
そういう態度が国民の信頼を損ねているっていうのが判らんのかねえ……

まあ、バレなきゃ良いや的思考の政治家は、どこの国にも存在するというわけだ。
先進国の政治家はそういう時、殆どがすっぱりと身を引いているけどね。
途上国を除けば日本位でしょ。
いつまでもグダグダとしがみ付いて、国民から不信を買うような政治家がいる国は。

しかし、エリザベス女王も苦労が絶えないと言うか……
自身の代理が議論を呼ぶような行動を起こしたり、
膝元の政治家が問題起こしたり、
お子さんはあれだし、お孫さんも過去にちょっとした問題があったし……

高祖母(ひいひいお婆様)で、
名君と称えられたヴィクトリア女王に泣きつきたい心境かもしれないね。

イギリスは未だにブレアさん、ってイメージが強いから間違えてしまいました。
ロシアが未だプーチンさんのイメージが強いみたいに……
