盗人王女、支払いに応じる

買い物に来て代金を支払わなかったサウジの王女様。
裁判所の財産差し押さえ礼状の前に、渋々代金を支払うことになった。
で……何故渋々を強調したかと言うと、
王女の側近と差し押さえ執行官とで約３時間に渡って揉めていたからです。

つまり、王女側は金を払う気が無かった事が窺い知れる訳ですね。

結局側近が執行官に小切手を渡し、
１７日までに入金する約束を取り付けて一段落着きました。

というのも、この王女様の未払いは他にもまだまだあるんですね。

１０００万ユーロ(約１３億８０００万円)を未払いのホテルとか、
６０万ユーロ(約８３００万円)を未払いの宝石店とか……

ちなみに王女側の言い分としては、側近が見過ごしていたとの事ですが、
常識的に見てそこまで見過ごすようなものなのかな？

これが企業なら、経理が見過ごしていたなんて言い訳は
絶対に通らないんですけどねえ……
なにしろ、市場や他の企業、融資元である銀行などからの信用問題になるし、
倒産に追い込まれちゃいますからねえ……

自分でお金を稼いだことのない人間の言い訳の典型ですな。

Oh, and by the way, if the facts were correct you would know that Canada’s health care is not actually “gov’t run” – it is 70% funded by the gov’t, and 30% funded by the private sector, but it is 100% delivered by the private sector. Furthermore, the Canadian gov’t spends less, per capita, on health care than the US gov’t.
