今回は宙のまにまにです。

-宙のまにまに-

柏原麻実原作　講談社発行　月刊アフタヌーン連載コミックのアニメ作品
２００９年７月から同年９月まで放送　全１２話

読書が趣味という文学少年の大八木 朔は、
父親の仕事の都合上、幼い頃から転校を繰り返していたが、
高校進学を機にかつて過ごした街へと戻ってきた。

地元の蒼栄高校へ進学した朔は、
幼馴染であった明野 美星と再会するが、
かつて美星に振り回されて怪我をした苦い経験と、
引越しの時にお別れの挨拶に来なかった憤りから、
美星を避けてしまう。

しかし、当時美星は足を怪我して入院していた事を知り、
長い間誤解していたことを悟った朔は、
美星たちが立ち上げた天文部に入部し、
正式な部として認めてもらうため、
部員集めに協力することになる。

というのが第１話の大まかなあらすじですね。

天文学というか、主に天体観測をメインに扱った、
珍しい部類の作品ですね。
男女比は圧倒的に女性のほうが多いですがw
天文学を通しての交流と恋愛を描いた学園漫画、
だと思うのですが……
恋愛への進展フラグは極端に少ない気もしますね。
部長と近江さんの恋愛は高速展開でしたがw
(９話辺りの合同観測会から、あっという間でしたねえ)
逆に小夜さんは恋愛が目立たないタイプでしょうね。
しれっと爆弾発言して、周囲を驚かせるタイプと予想。

江戸川はどんな作品にも必ず一人はいる、
お笑い担当というポジションですね。
女性陣が多いのに絡みは男性キャラだったりとか、
合宿で女湯を覗こうとしたりとかね。

姫は美星の恋敵、のはずなんですが……
美星が恋愛感情に疎いというか、
「星＞男」という感覚なので、姫の想いは空回り中。
後半はやたらと江戸川とセットで描かれていましたが、
姫もお笑い担当に格下げですか？

美星の父親の教え子でもある草間の登場で、
朔は二人の関係にやきもきすることに……
しかし美星にとっては年の離れた兄、
草間にとっては年の離れた妹といった感覚で、
朔にとっては一安心なんだろうけど……
朔が美星をどの程度意識しているのかはいまいち掴めませんが、
美星の方は姫のライバル宣言を勘違いする位、
恋愛感情に関しては疎いため、
主人公とヒロインなのにその歩みは亀並みに鈍足ですね。
今後も美星が自覚するまでは、
大きな進展は望めそうにないんでしょうね。

作画も目立った崩れは無く、適度にギャグを盛り込んで、
楽しく見れる作品になってますね。
ただ、学園恋愛ものとは言い難い作品ではあります。
ゲームで言うなれば、
隠しパラメーターである愛情値を稼ぐのが難しくて、
攻略イベントを発生させられない状況で終わってしまった、
といったところでしょうか。
朔の心境変化と美星への意識付けだけで、
以降全く進展せずに終わってしまったのが不満といえば不満かな。

見て損はしない作品だとは思いますけどね。
