おまもりひまり 第６話

おまもりひまりの第６話を見ました。
鬼斬り役としての修行を開始する優人の前に現れたのは……

第６話-キス×ネコ×KISS-

天河の実家へと戻り、妖猫と天河家の関係を知った優人は、
緋鞠が戦いに染まっていくことを防ぐためにも、
鬼斬り役としての力を覚醒させるための、修行に打ち込む決意を固めるが、
そんな優人の前に、許嫁を自称するもう一人の鬼斬り役、
神宮寺くえすが姿を現す。

幼い頃の記憶を殆ど思い出せず、
祖父によって定められた許嫁というくえすの言葉に戸惑う優人。
対する緋鞠は、優人とくえすのキスシーンを目撃してから、
自分の中で言い知れぬ感情が広がり始めていることを、
自覚して思い悩む事となる。

一方、鬼斬り役の中では新参であるが故に、
その力を誇示するように積極的に妖を滅してきた神宮寺家の登場と、
優人が鬼斬り役として覚醒の兆しを見せ始めたことで、
警戒感を強めていた妖たちではあったが、
優人の内偵を続けている静水久の報告もあって優人の処遇を保留し、
尤も脅威となるくえすの排除に動き始めるのだった。

現時点では疲労と風邪のダブルパンチで、
更新ペースをかなり遅らせている状況で申し訳ないのですが、
とりあえずおまもりひまりの第６話を……

最初の方で緋鞠が「鬼斬り役１２家」と言っていたので、
優人以外の鬼斬り役もいずれは登場するのは判っていましたが、
今回登場した神宮寺家は静水久に末席と呼ばれていたことから、
鬼斬り役の中では一番地位も力も弱い一族であることが判明しました。
西洋魔術を組み込んだ退魔術を用いることから、
妖を滅する鬼斬り役でありながら妖を殺さない天河家同様、
鬼斬り役の中では「異端中の異端」という位置付けのようですが、
鬼斬り役としての歴史が浅すぎるため、
その実力を認めさせることが出来ていないというのも、
見下されている大きな要因の一つでしょうね。
歴史が浅い分、高名な妖退治が出来なかった可能性がありますね。

ゲームで云えば、他の１１家は中ボス位倒しているけど、
神宮寺家はまだ雑魚キャラしか倒していない、
といったところでしょうかね……
だからこそ積極的に妖を退治して回っているものの、
結局雑魚しか倒していない、という形で評価されていないんでしょうね。

気になるのはくえすと一緒に居る鏑木兵吾。
彼の上位に居る人間はあらゆる政府機関を動かせる立場にあるようですが、
くえすが「長官」と言っていることから、内閣総理大臣は除外されますね。
警察関連の言葉が出てきたことから、警察庁長官と考えることも出来ますが、
警察庁の長官では公安や他の政府機関に関与出来ませんし、
上位組織である国家公安委員会では委員長ですので、名称が異なります。
じゃあ、結局誰なんだ？って考えてみた時、
この条件に当てはまるのは「内閣官房長官」でしかないわけですね。
ただし、これは現実の状況に当てはめてみれば、という話。
風のなんたらのように、警察や公安の中でも特殊な部署が存在すれば、
これまた話は異なってくるわけで、
それならば警察庁長官でも筋は通ってくるわけですが……

そして回を追う毎に不利になっていく緋鞠。
まあ、何に於いて不利になっていくかは、今更語る必要は無いわけですが、
くえすと優人のキスシーンを見たことで悶々とする緋鞠。
優人にほっぺで良いから、とキスをせがむのだが、
凛子の間の悪さ(間の良さ？)で唇に……
それにしても、優人は何故泣く。そして鼻息荒いよ。

思いがけず優人とキスしたことでご機嫌な緋鞠。
一方天河の力を狙うくえすは……
