投票しない人は政治を批判する資格が無い

７月１１日に投開票予定の参議院議員選挙。

ご存知の通り衆議院と参議院という二つが存在し、
衆議院は内閣総理大臣が衆議院解散を行わない限り原則として４年、
解散が無い参議院に関しては６年の任期が存在していますが、
衆院選は衆議院議員全員を一度に選び出すのに対し、
参院選は参議院の半数を３年毎に選挙で選び直す事になります。

さて、今回の参院選は今までと異なり、インターネットによる選挙運動の解禁、
つまりネット投票が施行される事となったわけですが、
それに関する記事の中で気になったのがこれ。

若者(日本人？)の政治離れが叫ばれるようになって久しいわけですが、
その理由って色々あると思うんですよね。
まあ、単純に興味が無いというのもあるとは思いますが、
難しそうだとか違いが良く判らないとかも、
実は選挙離れを引き起こしている理由なのかな？って気もします。
かく言う私もまた、選挙権を手にする前まではそんな考えを持っていた一人でしたが、
そんな考えを改めるようになったのは、とあるラジオがきっかけでした。

深夜にやっていた(現在でもやっていますが)某女性声優さんのラジオで、
たまたま選挙が近かったので話題に上がったときに、
その女性声優さんはこう言ったんです。

選挙権という国民に与えられた権利を行使することなく
今の政治に対して文句を言うのは間違っていると思う。
批判を出来るのは投票所にいき、白紙でも良いから票を投じた人だけだ

ってね。
つまり自分たちの代表を選ぶ権利や責任を持っているにも拘らず、
それを自分で放り出しておきながら、
他人が選んだ代表が自分の望んでいるような結果を出せないからって、
それを批判するのはおかしい、ってことですね。

私はこれを聞いて以降、少しづつ政治に関心を持ち始め、
選挙権を取得して以降は必ず投票所に足を運んで票を投じるようにしています。
だからこそ、この記事で選挙に行かないと公言している人に対し、
「僕は選挙に行きませんなんて、マイクを持って大声でいうようなやつは、
日本から出ていけ、と言いたい」
という評論家の発言は、すごく良く判ります。

都合の良い時だけ文句を言うな!!文句があるならまず投票しろと。

たかが１票、されど１票です。
身近な市町村議会選挙では、本当に最後の最後は、１票差！などと言う事は、茶飯事ですからネ。ちなみに、同票最下位の場合は、クジで決めるようです。

政治に参加する権利を放棄しても、義務はあるわけですから、選挙権を行使しないというのは奴隷宣言してるようなものですよね。
