初戦は快勝、２戦目は終盤の逆転負け、３戦目は終盤に辛うじて追いつき、１勝１敗１分という戦
績だった横浜DeNAベイスターズ。
さて本日の横浜DeNA先発は高崎、対する広島の先発はバリントン。
その結果は……

３試合連続で先制し、３連勝も可能だった東京ヤクルト戦を１勝１敗１分という戦績で終えてしまった
横浜DeNAは今日から今シーズン僅か１勝しか出来ていない広島が相手。
その苦手な相手に勝ち越せれば、まだまだペナントを戦えるだけに頑張って欲しいところ。

試合内容は初回、横浜DeNA先発の高崎が広島打線を三者凡退に仕留めて上々の滑り出しを見
せれば、打線は石川がヒットで出塁すると渡辺がバントで送り、２死からラミレスのレフト前ヒットで
石川が駿足を飛ばして生還して今日も先制に成功する。
ところが直後の２回表、先頭の岩本にライト前ヒットで出塁を許すと１死から丸のヒットとエルドレッ
ドの四球で満塁のピンチを招き、石原にインコースの失投をレフトスタンドへ運ばれる痛恨の被弾。
一瞬にして１点のリードが３点のビハインドに変わってしまう。

３点を追いかける横浜DeNAは２回裏、金城がフェンス直撃のツーベースで出塁すると小池が死球
で出塁し１・２塁。その後鶴岡は凡退、高崎は送りバントに失敗し石川が四球で満塁とするも、渡
辺がピッチャーゴロに倒れてチャンスを無得点で終えてしまうと、直後の３回表に高崎は菊池に右
中間へのヒットで出塁を許すと、２死から堂林のセンターフライかと思われた打球はギリギリでセン
ターバックスクリーン下に飛び込むホームランを浴び、点差を５点に広げられてしまう。
それを追いかける横浜DeNAは５回裏、先頭の渡辺直人がレフト前ヒット、中村紀が四球で出塁し
て無死１・２塁のチャンスを作り出すと、ラミレスのフェンス直撃タイムリーツーベースと金城のファー
ストゴロの間に１点づつ返して３点差に詰め寄り、辛うじて均衡を保ちながら終盤戦を迎える。
ところが直後の６回表に試合が崩壊してしまう。
２イニング目に入った福山は先頭の丸にあっさりと四球を与えると、続くエルドレッドに対しては頭
部死球を与えて危険球で退場。緊急登板となった江尻は石原に四球を与えると、前田に詰まりな
がらもライト前２点タイムリーを許し、再び５点差とされると広島打線の猛攻が江尻に襲い掛かる。
天谷のサード後方の打球を中村紀と渡辺直人が譲り合う形でヒットにすると、菊池の犠牲フライと
梵のツーランでこの回６失点。完全に息の根を止められてしまう。

その後横浜DeNAは７回裏に２死から金城・代打森本の連続ツーベースで１点を返すが、大量ビ
ハインドの中での１点は結局焼け石にコップの水をかけるようなもの。
これ以上の反撃も出来ず、大量失点による敗戦を喫した。


初回こそ三者凡退で立ち上がったのに、２回・３回と一発で大量失点を喫した高崎。
まあ２回は致し方ないとしても、３回の堂林のツーランは余計でしたね。
せっかく先制点を取ったというのに、あれで一気に試合が苦しくなりました。
まあ、バリントンを捕らえ切れなかった打線にも問題がないとは言い切れませんが、結局高崎が
大量点を失ったことが敗因の一つでしょう。
で、もう一つの敗因が福山とかいう、なにが取り柄なのか判らないノーコンピッチャーでしょうね。
いや本当に、ストレートが良い訳でも変化球のキレが凄いわけでもなく、しかもなかなかストライクゾ
ーンに投げられないノーコンピッチャーという印象の福山。
正直な話、彼は何が長所なのか判りません。
２点を返して追い上げムードを作っていこうとした矢先に、いきなり四球を与えて走者を出せば、続く
打者には頭部死球で危険球退場とかもう、何しに出てきたの？というレベルの投球内容。
寧ろなんで５回表を三者凡退で抑えられたのかが不思議、としか言いようのない投手。
もう今日の試合は福山が危険球で退場した時点で勝負あり、前田に止めを刺された、と言っても過
言ではないでしょうね。
それ以降はある意味苦行の時間でもありましたかね……
なにしろ石川が調子を戻してきたっぽいのと、どうやらルイーズのスタメンはもうないな、って事以外
は江尻がようやく戦線に復帰したことくらいが朗報で、正直何の見所もなかったです。

明日の先発は横浜DeNAが山本省吾、広島は左の篠田です。
恐らく唯一勝てる可能性があったのが今日の試合。それに大差で敗れた以上は、残り２試合も連敗
を覚悟したほうが良さそうですね……

There goes the neighborhood! Great job Federal Government, you have single handedly accomplished exactly what they wanted….to take over the U.S. and take back California.
