３８歳のベテランコンビで連勝を飾った横浜DeNAベイスターズだが、投手陣の駒不足は未だに
深刻で三浦・藤井とベテラン頼みの陣容だけに、救世主の出現が望まれるところ。

広島に３連敗を喫して嫌な流れで迎えた東京ヤクルト戦に連勝し、前半戦最後のカードの勝ち越
しを決めている横浜DeNA。前半戦最後の今日の試合は後半戦への流れを作るためにも、目指
すは今シーズン初の同一カード３連勝。

試合内容は初回、横浜DeNA先発の小林太が２死から松井にセンター前ヒットで出塁されるも畠
山をセカンドゴロに仕留めて無難に立ち上がるが、打線は先頭の石川が出塁するも１死２塁から
中村紀の打球は松井の好守備に阻まれ、ラミレスを敬遠気味に歩かされた後筒香は力の無い
セカンドライナーに抑えられて無得点となったが、２回裏には小池・荒波の連打で無死１・２塁。
残念ながら高城のプロ初打席はセカンドゴロ併殺に倒れるが、小林太志がライト前へのタイムリ
ーを放って今日も横浜DeNAが先制。自ら先制点を叩き出した小林太志は直後の３回表、先頭
の石川に不運な形でヒットによる出塁を許し、１死から田中浩康にはライト前へ上手く運ばれるが
松井・畠山を凡退に仕留めて序盤を無失点で切り抜ける。

中盤の４回、小林太志は２死から森岡・相川・石川と３連打を許し満塁のピンチを迎えたが、中村
紀のファインプレイで無失点に切り抜けると、５回にも２・３塁のピンチを招くも宮本をライトフライに
仕留めて無失点のまま降板。６回も大原・菊地のリレーでピンチを凌いだ横浜DeNAは渡辺の四
球と中村紀のツーベース、更にラミレスの打球をワンバウンド捕球と判定される幸運にも恵まれて
無死満塁のチャンスを作り出すと、小池のタイムリーツーベースで２点を追加。代走の森本がオー
バーランで２死になるも、荒波の打球をレフトのミレッジが落球し４点目。
３点の追加点を奪って１点を争う拮抗した試合の流れを一気に引き寄せる。

その後も横浜DeNAは毎回のように走者を背負いながらも投手陣が踏ん張り無失点。実に７人の
投手リレーで東京ヤクルト打線に１２安打を浴びながらも完封リレーで勝利。
昨年５月の阪神戦以来となる同一カード３連勝で、前半戦を締め括った。


今日は期待の高卒ルーキー捕手・高城が一軍初スタメンとなったわけですが、それが功を奏した
のかコバフトが意外にも好投してくれました。それでもまあ、８安打を浴びたわけですが……
特に今日の内容はシュートが良かったですね。
これはルーキーイヤーに６勝を挙げた先発コバフトが戻ってきたのかも？
あとは打撃結果が２打席凡退と初ヒットはお預けだったものの、高城は期待が持てますね。
いやいや、本当に高卒ルーキーですか？と言いたくなるほどに落ち着いていて、今後の成長が本
当に楽しみな選手だな、という印象を与えてくれました。
最近筒香がダメダメなだけに、楽しみが一つ増えた試合でしたね。
で、遂に打率が２割を切って５番の置物と化してしまった筒香。
それでも最後の打席を見た感じでは、ひょっとしたら後半戦で復調してくれるかも？という予感は
ありましたが、問題はまた迷いを抱えてのスイングをしないかどうか……
迷いながら打とうとしている内は、打てそうに無いんですよね。

さて、プロ野球は今日の試合で前半戦が終了し、明後日からオールスターゲーム。
ペナント後半戦は来週の水曜日、横浜DeNAは現在首位の読売ジャイアンツの試合からですね。
