戦う司書 The Book of Bantorra 第２話 [アニメの話とか]
戦う司書の第２話を見ました。
というわけで、感想です。
第２話-爆弾と姫君と灰色の街-
一般解放の時期を迎えて大忙しのバントーラ図書館。
その中で、先の事件に於いて奴隷たちを救えなかったことから、
ヴォルケンの心は沈んだままだった。
本の産地でもあるトワット鉱山へと流れ着いたコリオは、
同じように流れ着いたレーリア＝ブックワットらと共に、
神溺教団の真人の一人であるシガル＝クルケッサから
ハミュッツの殺害を命令されるが、
本の密売人に絡まれたことから、
常笑いの魔女の欠片捜索のために鉱山を訪れていた、
武装司書のルイモン＝マハトンに目を付けられてしまう。
ルイモンとの揉み合いのなか、
偶然にも欠片に触れてシロンの処刑シーンを見てしまったコリオ。
一方ルイモンはシロンの剣を持つシガルによって殺害されてしまう。
そしてハミュッツはトワット鉱山に集まっている教団殲滅と、
本の欠片の回収のため、自ら赴くことになるのだが……
色々と暗躍しているシガルですが、
シロンの剣を持っているのが謎ですね。
元々教団にあったものなのか？それともシガロ個人の所有物なのか？
どうやら神溺教団は単なる狂人的宗教団体ではなく、
真人は常人を遙かに上回る力を持っているようですが……
彼らは一体何者なんでしょうね？
歴史では極悪非道な魔女として伝えられているシロンですが、
コリオが見る本の記憶の断片では、
そんな印象を受けませんね。
むしろ彼女が常笑いの魔女として祭り上げられたような気がします。
彼女を祭り上げたであろう人物。
シロンがワイザフと呼んだ彼は何者なんでしょうね？
(声は同じでも、マスターアジアではありませんがw)
ヴォルケンは自身の正義感が強すぎることから、
思いっきり悩んで落ち込んでます。
性格的に一番武装司書に向いていない感じですね。
彼が現実と自身の信念という、
相反する事実に対してどのように折り合いをつけていくのか。
まあ折り合いつけられなければ謀反最有力候補ですが……
そうなった場合、ヴォルケンが教団に属することもありえますが、
どうなっていくんでしょうね？
そして一番の謎はハミュッツでしょうか。
彼女が館長代行と呼ばれる理由は、
神様がバントーラ図書館の館長だから、ということで判明しましたが、
初っ端から「何かあります」的雰囲気を醸し出すこの人の狙いとは？
そして恐らくこの作品のキーパーソンとなるであろうシロンと、
何らかの接点があるのか？
謎の多い戦う司書。
ますます目が離せなくなりそうですね。
