聖剣の刀鍛冶 第９話

聖剣の刀鍛冶の第９話を見ました。
シャーロットを亡命させ、帝国との戦争回避に成功したのだが……

第９話-面影 -Lisa-

騎士団の仕事が非番となったセシリーは、
娘らしさが損なわれていくことを心配したルーシーに、
好きな男性が居ないのか問い詰められる。
慌てて否定するセシリーではあったが、
アリアがルークの存在をバラしたことから、
フィオによって着替えさせられた挙句、
ルークの心を掴むまで帰ってくるなと厳命されて追い出されてしまう。

途方に暮れていたセシリーだったが、
洋服を着てうろついているところを鍛冶屋の主人に見つかってしまい、
ミセリコルデを直して欲しいと言うエルザと名乗る少女を、
ルークの元へ案内するように頼まれてしまう。

ルークから修理は不可能と告げられて落ち込むエルザだが、
リサは直せないまでもせめて砥いであげたいと申し出る。
一方、ルークの用事が気になるセシリーは彼に同行するが、
それが店の名前の由来となった幼馴染の墓参りであったことを知る。
そしてセシリーは伝説の人外であるヴァルバニルが実在する事実と、
リーザの死の顛末を聞くこととなるのだが……

というわけで、いよいよルークの過去が明らかになってきました。
ヴァルバニル戦争に居たとも居ないとも取れる、
セシリーとのやり取りでは御伽噺として伝えられている感じのヴァルバニル。
彼の左目は３年前にヴァルバニルと接触した際に、
リーザと一緒に失ったものなんですね。
これで以前ルークが言っていたあいつも、
アリアが魔剣に戻る時の呪文の一節である
「神を殺せ」という部分に反応した理由も、
ヴァルバニルにあることがはっきりと判りましたね。

しかし、ここには謎が二つ存在します。
一つ目はルークの説明によれば、自分たちを探しにきた父親も殺され、
自分だけが逃げ延びたと言っていますが、
何故ヴァルバニルはルークを追う事もしなければ、
３年もの間洞窟から出る事もなくじっとしているのか？
なんとなく聖剣の存在が関ってきそうな感じですが、
どんな理由があってヴァルバニルは洞窟の外に出ないんでしょうね……
そしてもう一つの謎はリーザとリサの容姿が酷似している点。
リサの姿がヴァルバニルに殺されたリーザと同じなのは、
どんな意味があるんでしょうね？
エルザが仕える老騎士が言っていた、
ヴァルバニルの血を分けたものというのが謎を解く鍵になりそうですが。

老騎士に仕える、エルザと名乗る謎の少女ですが、
彼女とすれ違った時のアリアの反応を含めて考えると、
エルザが老騎士の操る魔剣であることはほぼ間違いないようですね。
魔剣というとシーグフリードに繋げがちですが、
エルザと老騎士のやり取りからシーグフリードが与えたものではなく、
シーグフリードが接触する以前から老騎士が所持していたようですね。

ヴァルバニルに殺されたという老騎士の娘の名前がエルダという、
エルザに非常に似た名前を持っていること。
前回のシナリオでエヴァドニが語った、
「魔剣は悪魔契約によって剣の形を取った悪魔」という話から、
エルザは老騎士の娘であるエルダが悪魔契約を行い、
魔剣になった姿と考えることも出来ますね。
第３話でアリアが「いつからそこにいたのか判らない」と言っていますので、
「悪魔契約で魔剣化した場合、人間であった時の記憶は忘れ去る」
と仮定した場合、十分可能性のある話だと思いますが……

ちなみにミセリコルデに関しては、作中の説明で合っていますので、
(まあ、当然のことなんですがw)
ちょこっと補足するとフランス語で「慈悲」を意味する言葉です。
中世ヨーロッパの騎士は、全員必ずミセリコルデを帯剣していたようです。
所謂、大量生産品のような短剣ですね。

思いもかけぬ形でルークの悲しい過去を知ってしまったセシリー。
ルークの言葉の真意は拒絶なのか、それとも……
そして、ルークがリサを守ろうとする本当の理由とは？

I’ve learned new things through your blog site. One other thing I’d really like to say is that newer computer os’s are inclined to allow far more memory to use, but they in addition demand more storage simply to function. If someone’s computer could not handle extra memory along with the newest software requires that memory space increase, it can be the time to buy a new Computer. Thanks
