聖闘士星矢 THE LOST CANVAS 冥王神話 第８話

冥王神話の第８話を見ました。テンマの前に立ちはだかる、
乙女座のアスミタ。彼の真意とは？

第８話-良き風の日-

冥界の木欒子へと辿り着いたテンマの前に立ちはだかった、
乙女座の黄金聖闘士・アスミタ。
その圧倒的な力の前に打ちのめされ、サーシャの死を見せられたテンマは、
サーシャを守るという想いで人の五感を超えた第六感まで小宇宙を高め、
アスミタの防御を打ち砕くのだが、
自分がアスミタによって幻覚を見せられていた事を知る。

自身が守護する処女宮から冥界に幻体を飛ばし、
テンマの資質を試したアスミタは、
テンマに一つの光明を見出すと同時にある決意を固め、
一人聖域を離れる。

途中で冥闘士との戦闘を余儀なくされるも、
ハクレイから預かったアテナの剣の加護もあって、
木欒子の実を持ちジャミールへと帰還したテンマたち。
そんなテンマたちを追ってジャミールへ迫る冥闘士たちだが、
駆けつけたアスミタにより一蹴されてしまう。

持ち帰った１０８の木欒子の実。
これを武器として加工することで、
不死である冥王軍に対抗できると告げるハクレイ。
しかし、甦った冥闘士たちは既にテンマたちの篭る塔へ迫っており、
アスミタの血によって甦ったペガサスの聖衣を纏ったテンマは、
耶人やユズリハと共に、
武器が完成するまでの時間を稼ぐ事となるのだが……

原作では最終局面に近付いたものの、
意外な方向へと動き始めている冥王神話。

今回はようやくテンマの聖衣がパワーアップして復活しますが、
主人公なのにあまり活躍の場は与えられず。
実戦よりも訓練的意味合いの方が多いテンマの戦闘シーンですが、
その分黄金聖闘士が活躍してくれることを期待、と思った矢先に、
アスミタは早くも退場しました……
アルバフィカといいアスミタといい……
冥王軍の冥闘士と戦った黄金聖闘士って、
シオンと童虎以外はすぐに退場していますね。

前作の乙女座の黄金聖闘士・シャカは、
最終決戦におけるアテナの水先案内人的な役割でしたが、
今回のアスミタは殆どまともに戦わず、
武器を作るための人柱的な存在でしたね。
外見的特長はほぼシャカと同じ。
唯一異なる点があるとすれば、
テンマの台詞で判明した盲目の聖闘士であるということでしょうかね。
(シャカの場合は目が見えないのではなく、
小宇宙を高めるため意図的に目を閉じているだけですので)

メインキャラの一人のはずなのに、恐ろしいほど出番が少ないサーシャ。
(そして殆ど台詞がない平野綾w)
まあ、アテナは基本的に自分から動かないパッシブキャラなので、
舞台が聖域にならないと出番がないんですが、
たとえ聖域でもスポットが黄金聖闘士に当たると、
これまた出番がなくなりますね。
まあ、冥王軍のパンドラも基本的にサーシャと同じで、
居城に居るハーデスに出番がないと出て来れませんが……
(やはり殆ど台詞がない水樹奈々w)

そして、１回目の破壊と修復を経たテンマの聖衣。
前作では大きな戦いの度に壊れ・それを修復してきたのですが、
今回の聖衣は何回壊れるんでしょうね？

アスミタの命と引き換えに、
冥王軍に対抗するための数珠を手に入れたテンマたちだが、
テンマたちを追ってきた冥闘士のうち、
地獣星(ケットシー)のチェシャは健在なまま。
果たしてチェシャを撃退することが出来るのか？
しかし……キラVSアスランは実現ならずですか……
