ソ・ラ・ノ・ヲ・ト 第５話

ソ・ラ・ノ・ヲ・トの第４話を見ました。ガラス職人のカールの一言で、
音を奏でるという意味を悟ったカナタだったが……

第５話-山踏ミ・世界ノ果テ-

ノエルの用事に付き添い訪れたガラス工房で、
カールの一言から自分が音を作ろうとしていた事に気付いたカナタ。
ノエルはカナタの喇叭の音色からガラスの音で選別する方法を思いつき、
カナタの絶対音感で聞き分けた複製の中から、
最もオリジナルに近い物を持ち帰ることで、
タケミカヅチの光学センサーの修復に成功する。

後日、タケミカヅチのシミュレーターを使用した、
模擬戦の訓練を行っていた第１１２１小隊の元へ、
上官でもあるクラウスが隊員たちへの私信と、
司令部からの命令書を携えて訪れる。
母親から送られてきた手紙に喜ぶカナタとは対照的に、
受け取る手紙が無いことで落ち込んでいたクレハだが、
クラウスにお礼のワインを渡す役割を与えられ、
喜び勇んでクラウスの元へ赴くのだが、
後からやってきたフィリシアが、
とある命令書をクラウスに見せたことから謎の激励を受けるのだった。

翌日、司令部からの命令でフィリシア称する遠足として、
セーズ南側の州境にある旧文明時代からの監視装置のうち、
３基の定期点検に赴く事となった、カナタ・クレハ・ノエルの３人。
ただ歩いて調べてくるだけでは芸が無い、というリオの提案で、
重量のあるザックを背負って点検に赴く事となったのだが、
あまりの重さに持ち上げることすら敵わず、
リオの実演を受けてすら背負って立つだけで精一杯だった。

炎天下の中、重装備で動き回る羽目になったカナタたちは、
花畑の中に建つ最初の装置の点検を行うのだが、
次の目的地が高く険しい山の頂にあることを知って落ち込んでしまう……

いきなり模擬戦という形で始まった今回のソラヲト。
正確にはタケミカヅチに搭載されたシミュレーターを用いた、
各人の役割を実戦形式で行う訓練といった所でしょうが、
作品全体がほのぼのとした感じがあるので、
こういう描写が無いと戦争中の軍隊なんだ、というのを、
忘れそうになりますね。

母親からの手紙が届いて喜んでいるカナタですが、
「カナタの母親って生きてたの？」というのが私の本音。
確かに死んだという描写は全く無かったですが、
精々行方不明くらいに捉えていたんですけどね。
逆に気になるのは手紙が来ていないクレハでしょうかね。
よくよく考えたらカナタ以外の入隊動機はほぼ不明なので、
家族に関しても謎が多いんですよね。
クレハが手紙を貰っていないのは、家族が既に亡くなっているからか、
それとも家族の反対を押し切って入隊したからなのか……
ここまでのクレハと、フィリシアやリオの反応を見ると、
どうも前者である可能性が非常に高いんですけどね。

今回またしても新たな情報が出てきたことで、
ますます判らなくなってきた旧文明崩壊の謎。
「ノーマンズランド」と名付けられた無人の大地。
ノエルが「人の住む世界の果て」と言っていましたが、
それは単に緑が無いから住めないという意味なのか、
それとももっと別の理由が存在するのかは謎のままですね。
旧文明崩壊の謎はそのまま水掛祭りの伝承にある悪魔や、
タケミカヅチの存在にも関ってくると予想しているんですけど、
そういう展開になっていくのかどうか微妙ですね。

重いザックを背負って立っているだけで、
いっぱいいっぱいのカナタたち。
特にカナタとクレハは完全に「もう無理」って目で訴えてますね。
出発前の説明中に喇叭に手を伸ばしてリオに止められたカナタ、
一方ノエルは拳銃の使用許可が出た途端にあっさり手を伸ばし、
これまたリオに制止されたわけですが……
止めなかったらどうするつもりだったんでしょうね？w
そして川辺で休憩中に食料とコンパスを盗られてしまった３人。
怪しいのは３人の後を付けていたリオですが、
犯人はカナタが予想したとおり猪なのか？それともリオなのか？
食い散らかした形跡があるので、猪も否定は出来ませんが……

ゴールの山頂へと辿り着き、世界の今の姿をその眼で見た３人。
空腹の３人のために途中で山桃の実を取りに行くも、
猪と遭遇してしまったリオ。
近くの温泉に入りながらその顛末を聞いていたフィリシアから、
勝ったのか？と問われて答えることを拒んだという事は、
つまり負けたわけですねw

Thanks for your write-up on this weblog. From my personal experience, periodically softening way up a photograph may possibly provide the wedding photographer with a little an artistic flare.
