とある科学の超電磁砲 第２０話

超電磁砲の第２０話を見ました。
というわけで、感想です。

第２０話-乱雑解放(ポルターガイスト)-

夏休みを迎え日に日に暑さを増していく中、
学園都市では謎の局地的地震の頻発が相次いでいた。
そんなある日、担任の大圄から呼び出された際に、
話題が地震の話に及んだ時、同じ第７学区でありながら、
影響範囲の狭さに疑問を抱いていた初春ではあったが、
夏休み中にも拘らず編入する事となった、
新しいルームメイトの春上 衿衣(はるうえ えりい)を紹介される。

風紀委員として編入生の力になって欲しいと頼まれ、
張り切る初春ではあったが、
後日１９学区から引っ越してくる衿衣を最寄の駅へ迎えに行った際に、
引越し業者と入れ違いになり、
荷物で扉を塞がれてしまったことから黒子たちに助力を求める。

衿衣の荷物を片付け、
風紀委員と警備員の合同会議に出席する初春と黒子に代わって、
佐天と共に第７学区を案内する事になった美琴は、
佐天から頻発する地震がポルターガイストと関係していることを聞かされる。
同じ頃、会議に出席していた黒子たちは、
地震の原因が一時的に自立を失った能力者が無意識のうちに能力を暴走させる、
RSPK症候群の同時多発によるポルターガイスト現象の規模を拡大させたもの、
という説明を受けるのだが、固法だけは上の対応の仕方と、
RSPK症候群の同時多発という極めて稀なケースに違和感を覚え、
真相究明のため独自に調査を開始するのだった。

一方、会議を終えて美琴たちと合流した黒子たちは、
花火大会の告知ポスターを見たことから、
浴衣に着替えて全員で花火大会に行く事となったのだが……

ある意味平凡かつ退屈だった繋ぎのお話も終わり、
いよいよ最終シナリオが幕を開けた今回の超電磁砲。
しかし、その割にはかなり薄っぺらい印象がするのは私だけでしょうかね？

美琴とは違って普段他人から頼られる事になれていない初春は、
大圄から衿衣の面倒を頼まれて張り切るものの、
気合だけが空回りしているような印象ですね。
それは前回も同じですが、いいとこ見せようとして失敗し、
周りのフォローで段々落ち込んでいきそうな気配がします。
電脳エキスパートである初春ですが、
どうやら彼女に活躍の場は与えられそうにない予感が……
しかし意外だったのは、佐天のスカート捲りが初春にしか行わないことを、
当の初春が気付いていなかったことでしょうかね。

既に噂大好き少女というポジションが確定している佐天。
普段は初春を支えるような動きながらも、
色々と悩み苦しんできたわけですが、
この最終シナリオではそのポジションを初春に譲りそうな感じですね。
４人の中では一番普通な娘(悪い言い方なら取り得が無い)ですが、
なんとなく微妙なポジションに置かれそうな気がしますね。

今回の事件の鍵を握る３人が早くも揃い踏みしました。
とはいえ、そのうち二人は再登場となりましたが……
まずは思いっきり不自然な編入をしてきた春上衿衣。
某作品のロリ妖と同じく、語尾に「なの」を付ける彼女ですが、
印象としては初春をおとなしくした感じでしょうかね。
ドジっ娘演出なのか、世間知らず演出なのかは判断に悩むところですが、
彼女の影に妹達の姿が見え隠れしていると思うのは、
私が少々穿ち過ぎているからでしょうかね？
元々衿衣が居たのが第１９学区というのも気になります。
とは言っても、１９学区がどんなところなのかまでは判りませんが……

二人目は再登場となったMARのテレスティーナ。
毎度お馴染みとなった「実は黒幕」という立ち位置になるであろう彼女は、
今回の事件の原因究明を行うチームの主任的立場に居るわけですが、
彼女の目的とは何なんでしょうね？

最後の一人は言わずと知れた木山先生。
固法によって地震の原因であるRSPK症候群の同時多発が、
AIM拡散力場への人為的干渉の可能性に突き当たった事と、
RSPK症候群が無自覚による能力の暴走という観点から、
木山がかつて携わっていた、
AIM拡散力場の暴走実験に辿り着くのは比較的容易なので、
今回の事件もその研究に携わる何かという点も推測できますね。
テレスティーナと木山はその実験で接点が存在する、
と私は推測していますが……

花火大会の会場で衿衣を中心に発生した局地地震。
倒れてきた街灯から初春と衿衣を助けたテレスティーナ。
衿衣が持つペンダントの意味と、彼女が探すものとは？
そして木山が現場に居合わせたのは、単なる偶然なのか？
