こばと。の第１９話を見ました。
というわけで、感想です。

第１９話-…ホワイトクリスマス。-

年の瀬も押し迫った１２月下旬。
クリスマスパーティーを開催する事となったよもぎ保育園は、
連日パーティーの準備に追われていた。
ツリーや部屋の飾りつけ、
サンタクロースからのプレゼントを楽しみにする子供たち、
街中が煌びやかに彩られ、お祝いムードが日に日に高まる中、
小鳩は藤本だけが対照的に沈み込んでいく事に気付いてしまう。

そしてクリスマスパーティー当日。
保育園へ向かおうとした小鳩と藤本は、
千歳たちからクリスマス会への招待を受けるのだが、
藤本はバイトを理由にそれを断ってしまう。

一方、世間はクリスマスで浮かれているにも拘らず、
藤本だけが元気が無い理由を、
自分がパーティーの準備で迷惑をかけたからだと思いこんでいた小鳩は、
藤本がクリスマスの日に母親から棄てられたことを、
千歳から聞かされるのだった。

というわけで、今回はクリスマスに纏わる藤本の過去のお話。

私はてっきり事故死か病死だとばっかり思っていた藤本の両親でしたが、
幼い藤本が用意したプレゼントが母親の分だけという点と、
父親に関して全く描かれていないところを見ると、
どうやら藤本の母親はシングルマザーっぽいですね。
そう考えると、母親が居なくなった理由として考えられるのは二つ。
一つは一人で働きながら子供を育てていた事で、
過労によって倒れてしまった可能性。
もう一つは子供が居ることを隠して他の男性とお付き合いをしていて、
そのまま放り出して行方を眩ませた可能性。

前者の場合は何らかの手段でそれを知りうる事も出来るはずですが、
千歳の説明で母親が戻ってこなかった理由について、
全く触れられていない点を考慮すると、
後者である可能性が非常に濃厚になってきますね。
ただしそうなってきた場合、引き取られる以前の生活や、
清花の父親に藤本の存在を教えたのは誰なのか？
という疑問もまた存在しているんですが……
この辺りをはっきりさせちゃうと必要以上に重くなりそうなので、
あえて暈しておくことでバランスを取るのかも知れませんね。

バザーの一件辺りから小鳩に対して、積極的にアプローチしている堂元。
記憶が無いからなのか、それとも鈍いだけなのか、
小鳩は全くもって堂元の真意に気付けていないわけですが、
いおりょぎさんがこの件に関して何も口を挟まないのは、
かなり気になりますねえ。
理解させる必要の無い事と判断しているからなのか、
それとも理解してもらっては困ることだからなのか……
どうやら堂元は小鳩の心が、
既に藤本に向いていることを悟ったようですが、
当の小鳩は理解出来ていないですね。
これもやはり記憶が無いからなのか、それとも……

堂元に促され、誤解を解く為に小鳩の元へと向かった藤本。
そして、堂元の計らいで藤本と仲直りをした小鳩だが……
残された時間はあと僅か。
小鳩と藤本の関係はどうなるのか？
