君に届け 第２０話

君に届けの第２０話を見ました。
片思いの相手である透が結婚することを知った千鶴だが……

第２０話-プレゼント-

龍の誕生日を２日後に控えた１２月のある日、
前日に訊ねてきた龍に誕生日プレゼントを見られるのを嫌って、
邪険に追い返してしまったことから、
冷たい対応を取られたと思っていた千鶴は、
あやねの提案によって仲直りとプレゼントを渡すため龍の元を訪れるが、
予定を早めて帰宅してきた透と偶然にも再会する。
ずっと片思いしている相手との突然の再会の驚きながら、
素直に喜ぶ千鶴ではあったが、
同時に透が結婚することを知ってしまうのだった。

２日後、結婚の事を知って顔を出し難くなっていた千鶴は、
夜になってからプレゼントを渡すために龍の元を訊ねるが、
千鶴が透の事を諦められてほっとしている、
という龍の言葉に怒って、プレゼントを投げつけてしまう。

翌日、千鶴のことを心配しながら、どう慰めればいいか判らず、
自分の無力さを痛感させられていた爽子とあやねだったが、
自分を心配して傍にいる人が居るだけで心強いのだから、
何も言えないなら無理に何か言う必要など無い、
と風早から励まされる事となる。

というわけで、千鶴の恋のお話も今回で一段落着くわけですが、
色々と複雑な感情を抱え込みながらも、
それをなかなか他人に見せようとしない千鶴。
正確には自分の感情をどう表現すればいいか判らない、
といったところでしょうかね。
そのためあやねや爽子には無理して平静を取り繕っているのか、
それとも単に感情が麻痺してしまって平静で居られるのか、
判断に苦しんで慰めてやれない状況だったわけですが。

ただ、そんな千鶴も龍にだけは例外的に感情を顕わにする訳ですが、
兄弟のような付き合いをしてきたからこそ、
心のどこかに「龍だけは判ってくれている」という甘えというか、
依存みたいなものも存在しているからこそ、
感情を表に出せるのかな？という気がしなくもないですね。
とはいえ、千鶴が好きな龍にとっては、
透に対する千鶴の感情というのは重荷でしかないようにも思えますが。

千鶴の立場に立って考えてみれば、
龍の行っていた事というのは自分の想いを嘲笑うような行為なわけですが、
龍の立場からすれば非常に複雑な心境だったわけで、
千鶴に詰め寄られた時の彼の言葉が全て本心とは思えないわけです。
とは言っても、完全に違うとも言い切れない部分が存在するのも事実で、
実際にはどちらの形で決着するのが望ましいのかは判りませんが、
龍にとって千鶴がより傷付かないであろうと判断した選択というのが、
自身が悪役になることだったのかな？という気もします。

最近は色々と情け無いところが多かった風早ですが、
今回は久しぶりに良い所を見せたな、という気がしますね。
傷付いて落ち込んでいるはずの千鶴に対し、
何も出来ないことで悩んでいる爽子とあやね。
それに対し、無理に何かをしようとするのではなく、
ただ傍に居てあげるだけでも十分励みになることを判らせる風早。
最近はヘタレキャラが定着しつつありましたが、
今回は久しぶりに株を上げた感じでしょうかね。

龍から事実を正直に言われたことで傷付いたものの、
必死に我慢していた千鶴だったが、
爽子の涙に貰い泣きしてついに感情を顕わに泣き出す事に。
一方あやねと爽子は千鶴がようやく拗ねた事に安堵し、
千鶴の愚痴を二人で聞いて慰めるのだが……
