最下位に沈んでいる理由がそこにはある [横浜ベイスターズ2010]
温帯低気圧に変わった台風９号の影響で昨日は久しぶりの雨となり、
過ごしやすくなったかな？と思われたのも束の間、
今日も日中は暑くなって結局昨日は恵みの雨ではあったけれど、
一時凌ぎの小さなオアシスでしかありませんでしたね。
さて、昨日は首位攻防戦を除いてセ・リーグの試合は中止だった訳ですが、
一転して晴天となった本日も横浜はハマスタで巨人戦。
２連敗を喫して他球団の大顰蹙を買う事となるのか？
はたまた一矢報いることで巨人の逆転優勝の足を引っ張る事となるのか？
ＣＳを争う他の３球団が注視する横浜対巨人第１８回戦は

本日の先発は横浜が好不調の波があってなかなか勝ち星を増やせない藤江、
対する巨人の先発は次期エースと期待されながらここまで期待はずれな感がある内海。
互いに三者凡退で立ち上がった両投手だが、先手を奪ったのは巨人。
２回表、藤江は先頭の４番ラミレスを三振に仕留めるも、
５番阿部にソロホームランを浴びて先制点を与えてしまうが、
横浜は直後の２回裏に４番村田が四球で出塁すると、
５番スレッジ・６番カスティーヨの連続ヒットで無死満塁とし、
７番下園のセカンド併殺打の間に村田が生還して同点へと追いつく。
ところが折角同点に追いついても藤江が踏ん張りきれない。
３回表、１番坂本・２番松本の連打で無死２・３塁のピンチを招くと、
３番小笠原には犠牲フライで勝ち越し点を与えてしまう。
更にラミレスと６番脇谷にタイムリーを許したことで、
藤江は序盤の３イニングで４失点を喫し３点のビハインドを背負う事となる。
試合が巨人ペースで進むかと思われた矢先の４回裏、
波に乗り切れない内海に対して横浜の打線が襲い掛かる。
村田・スレッジ・カスティーヨの連打で無死満塁とし、
２回裏は同点に追いつくも併殺打だった下園が、
１塁線を破るタイムリーツーベースで１点差まで追い上げるも８番新沼は三振。
代打金城はサードゴロに倒れて２死１・２塁となり、いつも通り追いつけないと思われたが、
１番内川はショート坂本のグラブを掠めセンター前へ、２番石川はフルカウントからセンター前へ、
３番ハーパーはライト前へ３連続タイムリーを放ち打者一巡の猛攻で５得点。
３点ビハインドを２点のリードへと試合を引っ繰り返し、内海をマウンドから引き摺り下ろす。
横浜は４回以降を江尻・弥太郎・真田と繋いで巨人打線を無失点に抑えると、
打線は６回裏に新沼の内野安打と内川のヒットでチャンスを作り出すと、
石川の２打席連続タイムリーで３点差。
７回裏には１死無走者からカスティーヨのソロホームランで４点差。
８回裏には内川の四球と古城のエラーによる出塁でチャンスを作り出すと、
ハーパー・村田の連続タイムリーでリードを６点まで広げる。
しかし、此処まで来てもすんなりと勝てないのが横浜ベイスターズ。
９回表に５番手として登板した寺原は阿部にヒットを許すと、
暴投と代打矢野の進塁打で２死３塁とされ、８番古城にタイムリーを許して１点を返されると、
途中出場の高橋由に四球を与えたところで降板。
６番手として登板した山口は坂本にタイムリーを許すと、
代打エドガーに四球を与えた際に暴投で３点差まで詰め寄られてしまう。
それでも辛うじて小笠原をファーストゴロに打ちとって逃げ切りはしたが、
大量点に救われた締まりの悪い結末となった。
もうね……横浜が最下位に沈んでいる原因がはっきりと判る試合でしたね。
打線が打てる打てないとか言うレベル以前の問題です。
ぶっちゃけて言えば藤江が４失点したことなど大きな問題では無いんですよ。
だって、先発陣がどうにもならないというのは現状のセ・リーグなら何処も同じですから。
寧ろ広島なんか横浜よりも酷いんじゃないか！？というくらいに、
先発投手の出来は良くありませんから。
問題なのは中継ぎが相手打線を０に抑えて試合を建て直し、
味方打線が逆転して以降は効果的に加点して相手を突き放している、
完全に試合の流れを握った所謂大差での勝ちゲーム。
こういう試合は誰であろうと、最後をキッチリと３人で終わらせる必要があるわけですが、
ベイスターズはそれが出来ない。
寺原……まだ無失点で切り抜けたのは１試合だけのはず。
山口は中３日登板なのに安定せず。
そういえば過去には７点リードで登板して、いきなり四球与えた投手も居ましたっけ……
はっきり言えば、最後は田中健二郎に投げさせた方が良かったんじゃないか？
と思うくらいの試合でした。
良い流れで試合を進めてきても、最後の最後で躓いて流れを繋げられないから、
毎試合仕切り直す事になるため連勝が続かない。
此処３年はずーっとこんな感じですね。
横浜は苦手なナゴドということを差し引いても、多分明日の中日戦は負けると思う。
シーレはイースタンリーグで優勝争いしているけど、
それが終わる２０日以降には筒香が１軍昇格するようだし、
本当に筒香しか楽しみがなくなってきましたよ。
