とある魔術の禁書目録Ⅱの第１５話を見ました。
キオッジアでオルソラと再会したものの、ローマ正教に襲われてしまった上条当麻。
女王艦隊の船の中でアニェーゼと予期せぬ再会となったのだが……


#１５　女王艦隊

北イタリア旅行のペアチケットが当たり、キオッジアへとやってきた上条当麻は、
法の書事件で知り合った元ローマ正教のシスター・オルソラ=アクィナスと再会し、
彼女の引越しの手伝いをすることになってしまった。
だが、引越しの手伝いを終えてホテルへと戻ろうとしたところをローマ正教の襲撃を受け、
川底から現れた氷の帆船によって沖合いへと連れ去られてしまう。
海へ飛び込んで逃げるわけにも行かず、
ローマ正教の探索の目を逃れて脱出する機会を窺うために、
船室へと身を潜めていた当麻とオルソラは偶然にもアニェーゼ=サンクティスと再会する。

ローマ正教の保有する霊装・アドリア海の女王とそれを守護する女王艦隊。
自分達が居るのは護衛艦である女王艦隊の一隻であることを聞かされる当麻とオルソラ。
アニェーゼは一度脱獄して捕らえられた元部下であるルチアとアンジェレネを、
二人の脳が破壊される前に助け出す事を依頼し、
自身は陽動の為に旗艦・アドリア海の女王へと赴く事となる。
一方でルチアとアンジェレネの救出に向かった当麻たちは、
オルソラのハッタリで二人の安全を確保するのだが、
アドリア海の女王を使用するための術式・刻限のロザリオに、
脳を破壊されたアニェーゼ自身が用いられることを聞かされる。
家族とも言える二人を守るために自らが犠牲となる覚悟を決めたアニェーゼと、
そんな彼女の悲壮な決意に気付いてやれなかったことを悔やむ当麻。
しかしそんな感傷を打ち破るように船は女王艦隊からの砲撃によって撃沈されてしまうのだが……


というのが第１５話の大まかなあらすじですね。
まあ色々と説明だったり補足だったりが必要になってくるわけではありますが、
やはり今回１番驚いたことは今回の事件の首謀者であるローマ正教の司教、
ビアージオ＝ブゾーニのCVが若本規夫さんだった
という一点に尽きるかと……
別にラスボスではないんですけど、ラスボスと錯覚させられてしまいますね。
ビアージオの立場である司教についてですがシスター・アンジェレネの説明によると、
アニェーゼは「自分の部下になったシスター２５０人」を動かしていたわけですが、
司教は「ローマ正教の神父やシスターを１０００人単位」で動かせるとのことです。
これはアニェーゼがAという部署のB班に所属する人間しか動かせないのに対し、
ビアージオは全ての部署に所属する自分より下位の人間を１０００人までなら、
特に許可を得ずに動かせるということですね。
さすがにイギリス清教最大主教という立場にあるローラ=スチュアートには及ばないものの、
彼はこれまで登場してきた十字教の魔術師の中でもかなり偉い立場に居ます。

そして法の書事件以来の再登場となったアニェーゼ=サンクティス。
名目上、アニェーゼとその部下２５０名はオルソラ暗殺の独断専行の責によって、
負債を返すための労働力として女王艦隊へと送られてきた訳ですが、
本当の目的はアドリア海の女王に用いる刻限のロザリオという術式に使用するため。
そんな彼女の回想から、彼女が幼い頃に家族を皆殺しにされたこと、
身寄りが無く路地裏で残飯漁りをして飢えを凌ぎながら生きていた時に、
ローマ正教によって身柄を保護されたこと、
その頃からルチアやアンジェレネとは一緒に生活をしていたことが判りました。
実はこれ、原作を読んでいたときにも感じたことなんですけど、
アニェーゼの過去がある程度語られるのは今回のシナリオに入ってからなんですよね。
どうして法の書のシナリオの段階で語っておかなかったんだろう？って不思議で不思議で……
クリスマスの日に強盗によってアニェーゼの家族が皆殺しにされたことや、
その後のアニェーゼが残飯を漁りながら路上生活を続けていたこと、
ローマ正教に拾われて以降はシスターとしての修行を行ってきたこと。
これらを法の書の段階できちんと描けていれば法の書事件で発した、
アニェーゼ=サンクティスという少女の言葉の意味が、もっと早く理解出来たはずなんですけどね。
寧ろ受け手側としてはルチアやアンジェレネとの関係はともかく、
アニェーゼがローマ正教に入信した背景を今更語られてもね、ってところです。

色々と格好つけては見たもののアニェーゼを強制的に素っ裸にしたり、
オルソラからは肘打ちを喰らったり、気絶している間に素敵イベントに遭遇し、
インなんとかさんの不興を買ってしまったりと主人公なのに良いとこなしだった上条当麻。
おまけに見せ場の毎度お馴染みお説教タイムも、
説教されている建宮達は既にアニェーゼを助けることを前提に思考を進めていたため、
完全に空回りに終わってしまうなど、今回は本当に良い所が見当たりませんでしたね。

アニェーゼ・ルチア・アンジェレネ・オルソラ・インなんとかさんの話を総合すると見えてくる、
霊装・アドリア海の女王と女王艦隊、そして術式・刻限のロザリオの姿。
その主な特徴としては

・大昔はバチカンとヴェネチアは非常に仲が悪く、
　アドリア海の女王はヴェネチアを攻撃するためにローマ正教が作り出した代物である。
・霊装であり旗艦でもあるアドリア海の女王を護衛するために女王艦隊が存在する。
・アドリア海の女王による攻撃を受けると物理的に破壊されるのみならず、
　その土地を起源とする・或いは影響を受けた文化そのものまで破壊される。
　なお、アニメでは語られなかったが、これは人間を含む生物も効果対象となる。
・アドリア海の女王を使用する際に刻限のロザリオという術式を用い、
　術式の媒介としてアニェーゼが使用される。
・刻限のロザリオに用いられた被術者(アニェーゼ)は脳が破壊されてしまう。
・現状、２０億人居る信徒の中でも被術者の資格を持つのはアニェーゼだけである。

といったところでしょうかね。
アドリア海の女王と刻限のロザリオについては、あまり語りすぎると次回のネタバレになるので、
現状ではちょっとしたヒントだけに留めておく事にしましょう。

ヒントその１：世界に対するローマ正教の現時点に於ける状況とは何？
ヒントその２：被術者が２０億分の１である刻限のロザリオの存在理由とは？
ヒントその３：アドリア海の女王が作られたのは約８００年前だが、現代との違いは？

ここまで書けば、勘の鋭い方ならローマ正教の目論みまで辿り着けるでしょう。
次回の１６話で答えが出てくるはずです。


アニェーゼ救出のため女王艦隊へと突撃した当麻たち。
天草式が敵戦力を押さえ込んでいる間にアドリア海の女王へと乗り込もうとするが、
そんな彼らの前にアニェーゼ部隊が立ちはだかる。
アドリア海の女王が発動する前にアニェーゼを奪い返し、
ビアージオの野望を挫く事が出来るのか？
