Fate/Zero補足情報その１６

色々と謎の多いFateのストーリーや難解な専門用語を、少しでも理解出来るような補足情報です。
今回は第１６話からの補足情報を色々と書いていきます。

Ｑ１：舞弥はどうやってソラウを見付け出したの？あと殺さなかった理由は？
Ａ１：居場所を見つけ出したのは経験と勘です。
　　　ランサーのマスターであるケイネスは切嗣によって再起不能に追い込まれ、ランサーが残っ
　　　ている以上は新たなマスターと再契約した可能性を推測されていました。
　　　当然ながらその第１候補はケイネスの許嫁であるソラウであることも推測済みであり、当然な
　　　がらソラウに関しては実戦経験の無い魔術師である事も事前調査で調べてありました。
　　　(ホテル爆破時に切嗣がケイネスに成りすます際、ソラウの名前を出した事から推測可能)
　　　つまり自分の身を守る術を心得ていないソラウの居場所を特定するには、新都方面で他の陣
　　　営に見付かる危険が低い戦場から距離が離れた場所、ある程度の高さがあり戦場を窺う事
　　　が出来る場所、という条件を満たすところに絞り込めば良いわけです。
　　　新都方面に限定されている理由は、旧市街の深山町には遠坂と間桐の拠点が存在するため
　　　敵陣営が集中する場所には拠点を設けない可能性が高い事からです。
　　　ソラウを殺さずに捕縛した理由はケイネスの生死と拠点を聞き出す目的があったからです。
　　　これはマスター権移譲の有無に関わらず、ソラウとケイネスを確実に仕留めてランサーの敗
　　　者復活を阻む必要があったからです。
　　　恐らく舞弥はソラウの右手に令呪が宿っているのを確認したため、処理を行っている際にラン
　　　サーを呼び戻されるのを避けるためにまずは右腕を切断。更にこの時点で令呪を摘出する手
　　　段が無かったために、ソラウの身柄を確保した後令呪の宿る右手を撃ち抜いたわけです。

Ｑ２：ケイネスは何故拳銃で神父を殺したの？というか、腕治ったの？
Ａ２：璃正を殺したのは、他のマスターに令呪を与えないためです。
　　　ケイネスの腕は治っていません。
　　　あれはソラウにマスターとしての権利を移譲(本人的には一時的に預けている)した後、アー
　　　チボルト家のコネを使って日本在住の人形遣い(恐らく青崎燈子のことと思われる)に渡りを
　　　つけて、莫大な謝礼と引き換えに両腕の機能を回復したに過ぎません。
　　　所謂「腕だけなら日常生活に支障の無いレベルで動かせる」状態になっているだけです。
　　　また、神父殺害時に拳銃を用いたのは犯行を切嗣の仕業に見せかけるためですが、問題は
　　　切嗣が参加しているという事実を知るのはケイネスと綺礼だけであり、肝心の綺礼が切嗣に
　　　関する情報を時臣にすら伝えていない、ということでしょう。(ウェイバーは切嗣の存在を知っ
　　　たものの、どういう人物かまでは知らない)

Ｑ３：切嗣の目的が交渉なら、なんでセイバーたちを廃墟に来させたの？
Ａ３：ランサーが邪魔だからです。
　　　切嗣がソラウという人質をとっていても、霊体化出来るサーヴァントを従えた敵相手に真正面
　　　から交渉を行おうとしても返り討ちにあうだけです。
　　　仮にセイバーを伴った状態で行けば自らが真のマスターである事を知られるのみならず、交
　　　渉の内容が内容だけにランサーのみならずセイバーにも阻まれる可能性があります。
　　　そこで「サーヴァントにはサーヴァントを持って処する」という聖杯戦争の鉄則に従い、セイバ
　　　ーとランサーが互いに一騎打ちでの決着を望んでいる心理を利用したわけです。
　　　つまりランサーを排除してケイネスと交渉出来る状況を作り、ケイネスを完全な敗北に追い込
　　　むまでの時間稼ぎをする囮役として、わざとセイバーにランサーの拠点を教えたわけです。
　　　当然ながらセイバーが正面から来ればランサーは逃げないであろうこと、残りの令呪の関係
　　　上ケイネスが令呪を用いて逃走できないであろうことを見越した上での行動です

Ｑ４：交渉成立してランサーが消えたのにケイネス殺す必要ってあったの？
Ａ４：普通に考えればありません。
　　　聖杯戦争に於ける敗北条件は全部で三つあります。
　　　一つは与えられた令呪を全て使い切る事、二つ目は戦闘敗北などでサーヴァントが消滅する
　　　事、そして三つ目はマスターが死亡する事であり、ケイネスのケースは二つ目の条件を満た
　　　しているため敗北が確定しています。
　　　ただしこのケースだと他の陣営でサーヴァントが健在なままマスターだけが死亡した場合、
　　　そのマスターが未使用だった令呪を再付与されて戦線に復帰する敗者復活の可能性も残さ
　　　れています。
　　　つまり切嗣としては、敗者復活の可能性すら摘み取った完全な形でのケイネスの敗北、とい
　　　うのが最上の結果であり、まんまとそれを成し遂げたわけです。

Ｑ５：セイバーはケイネスに何をしたの？
Ａ５：介錯、即ち止めを刺しました。
　　　切嗣自身が言っている通り、ケイネスが令呪を使ってランサーを自決させた時点でケイネス
　　　を殺せなくなりました。ただしそれはあくまでも切嗣が殺害の意志・行為に及べないというだ
　　　けで、切嗣以外がケイネスを殺そうとするのを阻止しなければならない、というわけではあり
　　　ません。
　　　だからこそ舞弥の狙撃を阻止しなかったわけであり、逆に懇願するケイネスに止めを刺さな
　　　かったわけです。セイバーはそんな切嗣の態度に見兼ねて、ケイネスの苦しみを終わらせる
　　　ために止めを刺したわけです。

Ｑ６：切嗣が聖杯に託す願いって何？
Ａ６：一言で言ってしまえば、恒久的な世界平和です。
　　　魔術師殺しとしての役割を果たす傍らで長年戦場を渡り歩いてきた切嗣は、今の人間の在
　　　り方では決して戦争や紛争を根絶する事が出来ない、という結論に達していました。
　　　それは人がどれほど争いを忌み、平和を望もうとも、そこに利益や欲望を見出す人もいる以
　　　上は必ず争いが生じてくる。これに加えてセイバーを始めとする英雄と呼ばれる者たちの武
　　　勇が、戦乱や騒乱の悲惨さを煌びやかに覆い隠す事で多くの人が他人事のように捉えて、
　　　醜い側面に目を向けない、ということが繰り返されてきた。
　　　切嗣の「人間の本質は石器時代から一歩も前に進んでいない」という発言に、これが該当す
　　　るわけです。
　　　争いを根絶するためには、争いがいかに悲惨で最悪なものであるかを全ての人に頭ではなく
　　　本質的に理解させて、争いを絶対の禁忌とする以外に方法がない、というのが切嗣の思考で
　　　あり、その為に聖杯を欲しているわけです。
