Fate/Zero 第１７話

Fate/Zeroの第１７話を見ました。
緒戦の約束を果たすため、正面からランサーとの一騎打ちに望むセイバー。
その裏で切嗣はケイネスとの密約を結び、まんまとケイネスを排除する事に成功したが……

-#17　第八の契約-

衛宮切嗣がランサー陣営が拠点とする廃墟に於いてセイバーにランサーの注意を引き付けさせ、
ソラウの身柄を人質としたケイネスとの密約を結んでいたその頃、自身が救命した間桐雁夜を屋
敷へと送り届けて教会へと戻ってきた言峰綺礼は、礼拝堂でケイネスによって殺害された父・言
峰璃正の遺体を見つける。
綺礼は夜が明けてすぐ、師である遠坂時臣の元を訪れて璃正の死を報告するのだが、雁夜の生
存や切嗣の暗躍に加えて自身が再びマスターとしての権利を手にしている事も伏せたままだった。
そんな綺礼に対して感情を表に出していないことを指摘するギルガメッシュは、悔しい心情を吐露
する綺礼に自分の手で父親を殺せなかった悔しさではないのか？と核心を突く。

聖堂教会からの秘密裏の助勢と、ギルガメッシュという絶対的なサーヴァントを従えていた事で必
勝の確信があった時臣だったが、キャスターの暴走と追加令呪の獲得の失敗に加えて最大の協
力者でもあった璃正の死を知らされた事で自身の勝利が不確定なものになりつつある事を悟り、
凛を遠坂家の正式な後継者に指名すると同時にアインツベルンに対する共闘の申し入れを行う。

ランサー陣営を排除したものの、気を失って倒れたアイリスフィールを連れて土蔵へと戻っていた
セイバーたちだったが、そんな彼女達の元を時臣からの書状を携えた久宇舞弥が訪れる。
その内容から時臣に見くびられている事を書状から感じ取ったアイリスフィールは、微かに怒りを
滲ませながらも会談を承諾する。
そして深夜、時臣の要請に応じて言峰教会を訪れたアイリスフィールたちは、時臣との共闘の条
件として唯一所在が掴めていないライダーに関する全ての情報の開示と、最大の障害となり得る
言峰綺礼の即時国外退去を要求する。


というのが第１７話の大まかなあらすじですね。
今回の用語解説はちょっと多目です。
YAMAHA・V-MAX
１９８５年にヤマハ発動機が国外向けに販売を開始した自動二輪車で、日本国内では１９９０年
から発売されている。
メルセデスベンツは冬木市に於けるアイリスフィールの移動手段として予め持ち込んでおいたが、
移動ルートが限定される事とセイバーの騎乗スキルが機械仕掛けな現代の乗り物に対しても有
効であることから、衛宮切嗣の命を受けた久宇舞弥がセイバーの市街戦向けの機動手段として
用意した。
元々高回転時に加速性能を向上させるＶブーストシステムが搭載されており、量産市販車なが
ら１４５馬力を叩きだせるマシンだが、切嗣らは更に改造を施したのみならずニトロチャージャー
まで搭載している。
アハト翁
第１話にも登場したアインツベルン家の現頭主、ユーブスタクハイト・フォン・アインツベルン。
あれでも年齢は２００歳近く、第３次聖杯戦争に於いてはアインツベルンのマスターとして参戦
したが、そもそもアインツベルンの魔術が戦闘向きではなかった事もあり、緒戦に於いてあっさ
りと敗退したため、第４次聖杯戦争に備えて切嗣を招き入れた。
聖杯の器
聖杯戦争の最重要キーアイテムであり、アイリスフィール本人のこと。
サーヴァントが戦いによる敗北、ないしはマスターの死亡によって消滅した際にサーヴァントの
魔力を回収して聖杯の源と為し、聖杯を作り出すための代物。
サーヴァントが消滅するごとに魔力を蓄えるため、聖杯の器にとって不要な人としての機能が
損なわれていくことになる。
全て遠き理想郷(アヴァロン)
結界宝具　ランク：EX　レンジ：０～１　対象：１
効果対象を現世から隔絶した妖精郷に置くことであらゆる物理・魔法攻撃を無効化し、多次元
交信すらも遮断する最強の盾の機能を秘めた聖剣の鞘。
副次効果として所有者の老衰の停滞と無限の再生能力があり、この鞘を所有していると老い
が抑制され、例え死に繋がる重傷を負ってもたちどころに回復する事が出来る。
聖杯の器としてのアイリスフィールの事情を知るが故に、切嗣はセイバー召喚の媒介として使
用した後に秘密裏にアイリスフィールに持ち歩かせていた。
しかし副次効果はセイバーからの魔力供給が必要不可欠であり、正規のマスターではないア
イリスフィールの場合はセイバーから一定距離離れると鞘の効果を失ってしまう。

ケイネスに殺害された言峰璃正が事切れる直前に、言峰綺礼に向けて書き記した記号。
意味はイエス・キリストの弟子、十二使徒の一人であるヨハネが書いた「ヨハネの福音書第４
章２４節」であり、保管していた未使用の令呪全てを他者に譲渡するための秘蹟(教会系魔術
である聖人の奇跡)の呪文でもある。
綺礼を自分の跡を継ぐ聖人であると信じて疑わなかった璃正が、信仰とは無縁な他の魔術師
には理解出来ないように息子と時臣のために用意した遺品だが、結果として綺礼が時臣を裏
切る要因の一つとなってしまった。
なお前回の第１６話でケイネスに令呪を譲渡する際に璃正が用いたのは、「マタイの福音書
第２６章２７節及び２８節」である。
大聖杯
円蔵山内部の大空洞に設置された、聖杯戦争を司る大元の儀式魔方陣のこと。
アインツベルンが作成した聖杯の器に７人のサーヴァントの魔力を集め、その魔力で大聖杯を
起動する事で初めて冬木の聖杯は完成する。
アインツベルンはこの大聖杯を起動させる事で失われた第３魔法の成就を目論み、遠坂はこ
の大聖杯の力で根源の渦への到達を試み、間桐は自身の新しい完全な肉体を得る事を目指
している。大聖杯の存在は始まりの御三家とそれに連なるものだけが知る秘密であり、最後
まで勝ち残った際に自身のサーヴァントを自決させる必要性があることから、当然ながらサー
ヴァントにもこの情報は伏せられている。
アゾット剣
アインツベルンとの会談が終了して後、遠坂時臣が綺礼に託した剣であり、遠坂の魔術修行
を終えた証として与えられた代物。
医師であり錬金術師でもあったパラケルススが持ち歩いていた剣でもあり、諸説にはこの剣
に賢者の石が入っていたとも云われている。
作中に登場するものがパラケルススの所持していたものかは不明だが本物同様、柄の部分
にはAzothの文字が刻まれており、赤い石が填め込まれている。


アサシンが脱落したのを機に、謀略を用いてキャスターとランサーの陣営をまんまと排除した
切嗣さんたち。
その一方で時臣さんは最大の支援者だった璃正さんを失って、かなり動揺してましたね。
かなり慌ててアインツベルンとの共闘を申し入れたり、凛や葵と面会したり、ともすれば死亡
フラグとも受け取られかねない行動が多くなってきました。
でもまあ、アイリも自分の体の秘密を舞弥に暴露したりと、こちらも死亡フラグを立てている感
は否めませんが、舞弥もはっきり「切嗣のために死んでくれ」と言ってるので、こちらはフラグ
を立てているのではなく規定路線を突き進んでいるだけでしょうね。

そして綺礼の口から遂に明かされる聖杯戦争の秘密。
もう開き直っちゃった綺礼さんに怖いものは何も無いのか？
そして案の定、時臣から後事を託された直後に背後から刺殺ですか。
前回は切嗣さんが外道っぷり全開でしたが、今回は綺礼さんが外道っぷりをみせてくれまし
たねえ。
さて、次回は何故切嗣さんが歪んでしまったのか？という、ナタリアさんが再登場して切嗣
さんの過去に迫るお話ですが……
