国吉の背信投球でまたしても借金は二桁に

各球団、交流戦前最後の試合となる今日の試合。
交流戦では例年上位に来るものの現在は下位に沈んでいる流れの悪い球団としては踏ん張り
どころであると同時に、横浜や広島のように交流戦を大の苦手としている球団にとっては、少し
でも良い形で迎えるために勝っておきたいところ。
さて本日の横浜DeNA先発は国吉、対する阪神の先発はメッセンジャー。
その結果は……

初戦は高崎の不用意な失点で敗戦を喫するも、昨日の２試合目は三浦があわやノーヒットノ
ーランの好投で勝利を収めた横浜DeNAベイスターズ。
交流戦に借金一桁で入るのか、それとも二桁の借金を抱えて入るのか。
攻勢をかけるためにも重要な試合を国吉に託したが……

試合内容は悲惨の一言。
立ち上がりの国吉は鳥谷にフルカウントから四球を与えると、続く平野にバスターエンドランを
決められていきなり無死１・３塁のピンチを背負ってしまう。
ここで１点を仕方ないと諦めて開き直れていれば、まだまだ立ち直れる機会はあったのだが、
慎重になりすぎたのかマートン・金本に連続四球を与えて押し出しで先制点を献上。
続く新井を浅いセンターフライ、１点を追加されるも６番に入っている浅井をサードゴロに仕留め
て２死まで漕ぎつけるが、ブラゼルに２点タイムリーを浴びて初回で４失点と炎上すれば２回表
には鳥谷にヒットと盗塁で２塁まで進まれてまたしてもマートンに四球を与えて１・２塁。続く金
本はショートゴロに打ち取ったかと思われたが、梶谷の悪送球で鳥谷が生還して負の連鎖が
止まらない。
結局国吉は新井にも四球を与え、今シーズン最短となる２回途中で自滅して降板。
満塁の場面で登板した２番手の田中も浅井にショートへのタイムリー内野安打を許して、序盤
で６点のビハインドを背負ってしまう。

序盤の大量失点を取り返したい横浜DeNAだったが、初回に１死１・２塁のチャンスもラミレス・
中村紀が凡退してしまうと、２回以降はメッセンジャーの前に打線が抑えこまれて思うように反
撃に移れないでいた。
しかし５回裏、１死から黒羽根が新井の悪送球という幸運な形で出塁すると、代打森本と１番
荒波の連打で満塁のチャンスを作り、筒香・ラミレスの連続タイムリーで３点を返してなおも２・
３塁とするも、頼みの中村紀が初回同様に空振り三振に倒れてしまう。
それでも３回以降は継投で阪神打線にヒットを許さず封じ込めていた横浜DeNAだったが９回、
１死から菊地が途中出場の関本にヒットを許すと６番手の篠原が２死から平野・マートンに連
打を許して２失点を喫し勝負あり。
９回裏に先頭のサラサーが出塁するも下園・小池の代打は不発に終わり、荒波がヒットで出
塁して望みを繋ぐも最後は梶谷がセカンドゴロに倒れて試合終了。
チャンスを活かしきれなかったのは無論の事だが、国吉の背信投球が響いて阪神戦初の負
け越しとなり、二桁借金を抱えて交流戦を迎える事となった。



誰が悪いって、間違いなく国吉が悪い今日の試合でした。
しかも２番手以降の投手は３回から８回までノーヒットに抑え込んでいるわけですから、今日の
国吉は擁護の仕様どころか「論ずるに値しない」という投球内容です。ええ。
前回の登板では今シーズン初勝利を挙げていますし、なにより前日の番長の投球もありました
し、期待はしていたんですけどねえ……
まだ３年目、しかも支配下登録されてから１年半ほどですが、それでも３８歳のベテラン投手に
おんぶにだっこで恥ずかしくないのか？と(まあ、今に始まった事ではないですが)……
って、それは高崎にも言えることですか。
今年もまた加賀を先発にしないといかんのか？

例年通りというべきか、交流戦目前に来てまたしても投壊の兆しを見せている(実際は壊れてい
る？)わけですが、そんな状態で火曜日からはいよいよ交流戦最初の試合となる埼玉西武戦。
昨年は骨折していたおかわりくんに本塁打を被弾してリアルチート化のきっかけを与えてしまっ
ただけに、今年は不調のまま眠らせて貰いたいところですが果たしてどうなることやら……
