君に届けの第１４話を見ました。風早への恋愛感情を自覚した爽子は、
その事をくるみに伝えようとするのだが……

第１４話-くるみ-

龍との会話で風早に対する恋愛感情を自覚した爽子は、
その事を伝えるためにくるみを探していたのだが、
くるみと一緒に居たあやねと千鶴から、
二人の黒い噂を流したのがくるみだと聞かされる。

くるみを友達として疑いたくない爽子は、
事の真相をくるみに問い質すのだが、
あやねと千鶴の黒い噂を爽子が言いふらしていたという噂を広め、
爽子を孤立させようとしたこと、
そして爽子のことを一度も友達と考えたことなど無かったことを、
くるみの口から直接聞かされる。

千鶴は何も言い返せない爽子に代わって、
くるみに二度と友達を傷つけるなと叱責する。
あやねは反省の色を見せず開き直りとも取れるくるみの言動に、
風早に対する情報の密告で脅しをかけるのだが、
当事者の一人でもある爽子から、
それだけはしないように懇願されてしまう。

蟠りを抱えたまま午後の種目に参加することとなった爽子だったが、
くるみと同じクラスの女子生徒が、
くるみの悪評を口にしているのを偶然にも聞いてしまい、
彼女もまた自分と同じようにクラスで孤立していることに気付き、
自分の気持ちをまっすぐくるみにぶつける決意をする。

一方、あやねと千鶴はくるみがピンに告白して振られたと言う噂を、
ピン自身が公言してまわっているのを知り、
そんな噂が流布されているくるみに対して、
本気で同情してしまうのだが……

うわ～……ピン最悪ですね。
自分が好意を寄せられていると勝手に解釈をして、
勝手に自己完結させただけでは飽き足らず、
今度はそれを公言しての羞恥プレイですか。
教師以前に人として最低だな、って思いますね。
さすがにピンが言いふらしているあのシーンだけは、
本気でくるみに同情してしまいます。

どこをどう振り返ったらそんなフラグが見つかるのやら。
ピンの思考回路があまりにも単純すぎて呆れるというか……

千鶴も「自分のことは良いけど、あやねと爽子のことで知ったようなことを言うな」
とか、「二度と爽子を泣かすな」とか、

最初は「おお、凄い。千鶴かっこいいよ千鶴」だったんですが、
途中からは「え～～～!?」って感じで急に格好悪くなってしまって。
いやいや、シリアスシーンなのになんでギャグを絡めるの？
って印象でしたね。

噂の中ではあやねと千鶴を従える裏番なのに、
何故かあやねと千鶴の黒い噂を流している張本人になっていて、
その矛盾に疑問点を抱く爽子ですが、今更そこに気付いたのか？と。

まあ裏番の方はくるみではないことが本人の口から語られましたが、
噂ってある意味伝言ゲームみたいなものですからね。
聞いた話を一言一句過つことなく次の人に伝えれば、
話の内容が変化することは無いんですけど、
聞いた話に対して自分なりの解釈を加えて次の人に伝えるものだから、
結果として段々話の内容が異なってきて、
場合によっては内容に矛盾が生じてくる。

今回くるみが流したのは「あやねと千鶴の黒い噂を爽子が言いふらしている」
というものでしたが、それがくるみ言うところの風早ファンの耳に入り、
爽子をより貶める印象を与える噂として裏番の話が持ち上がり、
それが広まっていった、と見るべきでしょうね。
噂を捻じ曲げて解釈した結果、以前の噂との間に整合性が無くなったわけですが、
千鶴やあやねが爽子から話を聞くまで裏番の噂を知らなかったことから、
どうやら裏番説はかなりローカルな噂でしかなかったと思われます。
ただ、爽子は中間テスト前後で両方の噂を聞いているわけで、
私が「今更気付いたのか」と思ったのもこの点が理由ですね。

友達じゃないと言われ、それでも友達であろうとする爽子。
くるみに対し、風早が好きだという、
自分の偽らざる気持ちを打ち明けた爽子だったが……
