今年のオフもトレードトレード

昨シーズンオフは大幅な戦力補強を行ったにも拘らず、
３年連続９０敗を喫しての最下位に沈み、
球団売却話まで飛び出した横浜ベイスターズ。

結局売却交渉は破談に終わったわけですが、
北海道日本ハムファイターズからＦＡした森本を獲得したものの、
本命ともいえる埼玉西武ライオンズの細川の獲得と、
内川の慰留に失敗して不安だらけに終わったＦＡ戦線。

桑原謙・野中を放出してオリックス・バファローズから右打者の一輝を獲得したのも束の間、
寺原と高宮をオリックス・バファローズに放出して、
山本省吾と広島からトレードされた喜田剛を獲得したのがつい数日前のこと。
まだまだ補強に動く横浜はなんと、東北楽天から渡辺直人を金銭トレードで獲得しました。

まあ一輝の獲得に関しては良く判ります。
只でさえ手薄な右打者が内川が抜けたことで更に薄くなったわけで、
まあ一輝の獲得は内川が正式に移籍表明する前でしたけど、
右打者を補強するという意味では良く判る話なんですよね。
まあ桑原謙を出すなんて横浜にしてみれば大盤振る舞いだと思いますけど、
将来楽しみな若手だっただけにオリックスで頑張ってくれれば良いかな？と。

寺原と山本省吾に関してもある程度納得はしています。
寺原は２００７年に多村とのトレードで移籍して２桁勝利を上げたものの、
翌２００８年はクルーンが抜けた穴を新外国人が埋められずに急遽抑えに転向。
そして２００９年と２０１０年は共にゴールデンウィーク明けに肘を痛め、
長期戦線離脱を強いられて不本意なシーズンを過ごす事となり、
才能が開花しそうで開花しきれないもどかしい状況だったわけですが、
今回のトレードでひょっとしたら、という可能性が無きにしも非ず。
一方で山本省吾はシーズン終盤に岡田監督からの評価を下げたとはいえど、
ある程度の計算が出来る投手で、今シーズンの交流戦は４戦４勝。
セ・リーグに対しての相性の良さも見せ、計算できる先発左腕が居ない横浜としては、
非常にありがたい戦力補強であり、トントンか横浜が得か、といったトレード。
それに対して疑問が残るのは、手薄な左の中継ぎである高宮を放出して、
だぶついている左の外野手である喜田剛を何故獲ったのか？でしょうかね。
まあ一部では森本のＦＡ獲得対策とも言われていますけど……
広島時代の喜田剛にはチャンスで尽くやられた印象があるので、
横浜でも是非勝負強さを発揮していただきたいものです。

そして噂が出た時、ひょっとしたらありうるのかな？
程度に考えていた渡辺直人の金銭トレードですが、正式に発表されましたね。
本当に、ひょっとしたら程度だったので、実際に決まって驚いているわけですが、
正直な感想としては、東北楽天はよく渡辺直人を出したなあ、と。
いずれにせよ、決まった以上は是非とも頑張っていただきたいわけですが、
やはり煽りを受けるのは藤田なんだろうか？
