土壇場で零れ落ちた勝利

東北楽天のチャンステーマって、いつ聞いても「ガリガリくん」にしか聞こえない不思議。


さて、昨日の試合で連敗を４で止めはしたものの、未だセ・リーグ最下位の横浜ベイスターズ。
しかし上位球団もパ・リーグに四苦八苦している以上、
例え順位が上がらなくても勝ち続けていれば首位との差も詰まっていくのが道理。
つまり交流戦中は引っ繰り返せなくても、交流戦が終わって直接対決になれば、
あっという間に引っ繰り返せるということですね。
だからこそ一つでも多く勝って、上位との差を詰めておきたいところ。
ましてや相手が交流戦に入って調子を落としている千葉ロッテならば、
しっかりと勝ちを拾っておきたいところなのだが、
本日の横浜対千葉ロッテの交流戦第４回戦は
千葉ロッテ　６－５　横浜　で、マリーンズの勝利です……


本日の先発は横浜が予想通りというか、ローテーション通りに高崎、
対する千葉ロッテの先発は渡辺俊介。
あれ？ＱＶＣでの対戦では１回戦が成瀬、２回戦が唐川だったので、
昨日の先発が成瀬だったから今日はてっきり唐川だと思っていたんですけどね……
さて、ここまで横浜の先発投手陣の中では開幕から一番安定しているものの、
勝ち運に恵まれずなかなか白星が付かない高崎は立ち上がりの１回表、
１番岡田に内野安打で出塁を許すと２番塀内に送りバントを決められて１死２塁。
３番井口にタイムリーツーベースを打たれていきなり失点を喫すると、
４番金に四球を与えて１死１・２塁とする不安定な立ち上がり。
５番今江をセンターフライに仕留めるも井口には進塁を許して１・３塁とされると、
６番大松にもタイムリーを許して初回で２失点を喫してしまう。

いきなり追いかける立場に立たされた横浜だったが１回裏、
１番渡辺がレフト前ヒット、２番石川のショート内野安打で無死１・２塁とすると、
３番金城の送りバントで１死２・３塁と一打同点のチャンス。
ここで４番村田はショートゴロに倒れるもその間に渡辺が生還して１点を返す。
それでも２回裏には１死から７番内藤のレフト前ヒット、８番細山田が四球を選んで出塁すると、
９番高崎が送りバントをキッチリと決めて２死２・３塁。
更に渡辺も四球を選んで満塁とすると、石川・金城の連続タイムリーで逆転。
３回裏には５番スレッジのソロホームランでリードを３点に広げる。

初回に２失点を喫した高崎ではあったが２回以降は毎回のように走者を許すも、
千葉ロッテ打線に付け入る隙を見せずに無失点で抑えていく。
その高崎は６回表、１死から今江にヒット・大松に四球を与えると、
７番里崎は村田のファンブルでの出塁を許し、１死満塁のピンチを招いてしまう。
それでも８番の代打福浦をショートゴロ併殺打に仕留めて無失点で６回を凌ぎ、
勝ち投手の権利を有したままで中継ぎ投手陣に後を託す事となる。

３点のリードを持って試合は終盤。
あとはしっかりと抑えて逃げ切るだけだったのだが、ここから横浜にとっては悪夢が待っていた。
７回表は２番手の江尻が走者を許しながらも無失点で切り抜けたが、
８回表に３番手の牛田が２死から里崎にソロホームランを許して２点差。
９回表には４番手の山口が登板し、途中出場の９番神戸にツーベースを打たれるも、
岡田・塀内を凡退に抑えて神戸の進塁を許さず２死２塁。
あとアウト一つで勝てるというところまで来たが、井口に四球を与えて１・２塁とされると、
金に痛恨のスリーランホームランを浴びて土壇場で逆転を許してしまう。
最後の最後で追いかける立場に立たされた横浜は石川がヒットで出塁し、
２死ながらも一発出ればサヨナラという場面で村田へ繋ぐが、
ショートゴロに倒れて試合終了。
山口が今シーズン初の救援失敗で痛い敗戦を喫するとともに、
またしてもリリーフ失敗で高崎の勝ちを消す結果となってしまった。


ホークス戦に続いて今シーズン２度目となる土壇場での逆転負け。
山口で逆転されたことを、こんなこともあるさと前向きに捉えるか、
はたまた山口はダメだなと後ろ向きに捉えるか。
まあ人それぞれではあるんでしょうけど、私は一応前者ですね。
寧ろ中継ぎ陣の疲労のほうが心配ではありますけどね。
それに今日は負けたとはいえども、千葉ロッテ戦は２勝１敗１分と勝ち越しているので、
良しと前向きに捉えてみましょうかね。
気持ちを切り替えて明日勝てばいいのです、大事なのは連敗しないことなのですよ。


さて、明日は埼玉西武戦。横浜の先発は須田です。
そろそろ初勝利を挙げて欲しいところですね。
ただ、埼玉西武の先発は恐らく岸です。
難敵ではありますが、勝てれば非常に大きい相手ですね。
